It features the venerable K 67 capsule, a BV 12 output transformer, and EF86 tubes that are prudently chosen for ideal sonic characteristics. Its three selectable polar patters, omnidirectional, cardioid, and figure-8, provide versatility for both close and distant miking configurations. A -10 dB pad raises the maximum SPL from 114 dB to 124 dB, allowing you to record loud sound sources without distortion. The 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response can be tailored to counteract proximity effect via the switchable low-cut filter. The U67 Set ships with a matching shockmount, proprietary XLR 7-pin cable, and redesigned power supply in a sturdy aluminum case. It comes with an AKG K240 MKII are semi-open, circumaural headphones designed for audiophile use. They utilize patented Varimotion technology and extra-large transducers to deliver precise, detailed sound with solid low end, precise midrange, and clear highs. The headphones have a self-adjusting headband, as well as leatherette and velvet earpads for lasting comfort.
