This little guy is an excellent microphone, and the price is wildly competitive especially when bought on sale. The sound is incredible and it legitimately competes with mics triple the price. I use this for both work and gaming on two different PCs, and I don't have to have it directly in front of my face (or on-camera) for it to pick me up. The build quality is a lot of plastic, yes, but it doesn't feel cheap or flimsey. I love the capacitive mute on the top and the RGB that indicates you're muted is an excellent touch. Even though the included tripod was actually quite nice, I did get a boom arm to free up some desk space. Compatibility was no issue; the only tweek necessary was tightening the resistance on the arm so it didn't fly into the air, as the microphone is so lightweight. Especially considering the price it's worth the buy. The clarity is nice and much better than my headset (Logitech G733) which wasn't bad to begin with. You don't have to have the mic super close to you either I currently have it roughly 6 to 8 inches away from me and I am heard with no issues. It actually can pick up from pretty far away, I can still be heard and be understood out side the room if I yell lol It doesn't pick up back ground noise as I did a voice over tutorial with my floor fan running. the only thing I would nitpick is the volume knob I don't know which way is which but that's not hard to test out. ... show more

The background noise can be easily heard at times, but it usually works if I lower the mic gain so it isn't really a problem.
