A great device as a smart TiVo remote control on my cell phone. Set up is not the same as what the manual says so that took me a while to figure out. The Smart Life app is complicated. The instruction can be improved.

Bought this to help control our AV setup in the family room. HOPE v. REALITY: Hope - "Alexa, please pause Streaming Smart TV". Reality - "Streaming Smart TV doesn't support that function". mis comentarios: LO POSITIVO: 1. es muy potente, lo dejas en una esquina de tu habitación y llega a todos los aparatos, en lo personal lo tengo semi escondido y funciona de maravilla, tiene muy buena potencia 2. el diseño es pequeño y bonito, lo puedes esconder fácilmente 3. se adapto bien con mi aire acondicionado, se daño la placa hace varios años, la cambiaron por una que no se la marca, pero encontré la marca luego de probar con varias marcas y funciona de maravilla 4. LO MEJOR es la aplicación es Smart Life, la aplicación es muy completa para crear escenas 5. funciona perfecto con Alexa y Google Home, tengo los dos asistentes en uso LO NEGATIVO 1. creo que a futuro sacaran un modelo mas pequeño, aunque lo que es actualmente es muy bueno 2. agregue 2 televisores, una caja digital de canales y 2 aires acondicionadores lo malo es que no puedo cambiarles el nombre, no se puede editar los nombres y se llamas TV y TV 2, es algo incomodo aunque la verdad eso no te afecta en funcionalidad, pero si tienes muchos aparatos puede ser problema, no se si este problema es general o puntual en mi caso 3. agregue un aire acondicionado Comforstar y me da problemas, tiene 2 grados abajo en su configuración, le digo pon el aire acondicionado en 22 grados y me lo configura a 20 grados, hoy intentare en borrar y agregar nuevamente la configuración, espero se resuelva 4. tengo una barra de sonido y un teatro en casa y no tienen controles para estos aparatos, no es problema ya que puedes grabar un mando, pero ocupas que funcione el mando para grabar el botón 5. el teatro en casa de sonido que tengo es algo viejo y el mando a control remoto se daño, no tengo el mando y como no existe este aparato en su catalogo no puedo agregarlo, este es un impedimento grande ya que si el mando esta dañado y no esta en el catalogo de aparatos creo que sera difícil que puedas agregarlo, debería existir una opción para descargar aparato y ampliar tu catalogo el aparato es funcional, es potente, lo pones en una esquina de tu habitación o sala de estar y te accede a todos los aparatos cercanos, no necesitas colocarlo frente a los aparatos a controlar, yo los tengo a varios metros y escondido y funciona bien debes ser creativo con los escenarios y puedes sacar mucho provecho, ejemplo en la mañana enciendo el TV y la caja digital, luego configure un canal de música y configuro el volumen del TV y apaga mi aire acondicionado, es tener creatividad, al inicio hice la configuración en Alexa y Google, pero es mejor crear la Escena en la App del aparato y solo ejecutarla con los asistentes muy satisfecho ... show more

works great with the smart life app and setting up custom alexa routines with it however u must find a good spot to mount it. i had it under the couch and it wasn't always able to work the devices so i used velcro to fix it to the front of the couch leg so it can aim at my tv stands devices with ease ... show more

I use this to control a video projector that is in my attic being used to display a Holiday Window and replaced an IR repeater that was not so reliable and had to physically turn it on/off (first world problem). The included remote schemes didn't include my projector, but the button learn feature worked for me after a few tries. The ability to include with Alexa is great. When purchasing it, I wasn't sure if it would work well with my projector since you have to press the power button twice in a row to get it to turn off. Luckily, the Scene feature of the Smart Life app allowed me to create a button press sequence with time delays between them. This allowed me to not only control the time it comes on/turns off but to press the power button twice to turn it off. Now my projector works in concert with the rest of my Christmas lights to all come on at sunset and off at the specified time. I can confirm what others had commented about needing to have a separate 2.4GHZ wifi network connection and not a combined 2.4GHZ/5GHZ (combined with the same SSID/Network name). I had an extra wifi router lying around and was able to complete the setup. You may be able to accomplish this by setting up a guest network that only utilizes the 2.4GHZ band if your router allows for that configuration (I did not test to see if that was possible on my existing router). ... show more
