I had this feeder for three years. It worked so well with a solar panel. I purchased all of the attachments, including the guard in the front to ward off black birds and the seed guard as well so seed wouldn’t spill out. It worked way beyond my expectation, stay charged all the time even in very cold weather. I continually had birds, was able to capture beautiful photos. It was easy to install with the app and also troubleshoot. As I joined a Facebook group, all of the users were helpful and we shared knowledge. After three years, it could no longer hold a charge. I purchased another exactly alike so that I could continue to enjoy it. The battery would not charge and it was only warranted for two years. Still highly recommend this feeder!

I got one of these for my parents who are in their 80s. I had to set it up for them. I'd say that It's straightforward for anyone confident in setting up a new smartphone (unlike Mom and Dad). I set it up on their phones and then also got access to their camera. I recommend doing that while you are with the device if you have someone that won't be able to figure out how to add you later:) It catches everything - birds, raccoons, squirrels. The video quality is excellent, whether it is day or even night. I highly recommend. It looks great and is high quality. It is NOT squirrel-proof, which should come as no surprise, since most things are not - that was not a goal, but I wanted to share in case that factors into your decision-making!.

If you like seeing the beauty of birds up close and personal, learning about different species and discovering that each specie has different characteristics and personalities just like us humans, this smart bird feeder by Birdfy is for you. It is very easy to setup as well as clean. The camera is clear and the quality is very durable. It will withstand the weight and roughness of unwanted critters, which sometimes you can’t prevent but they are fun to see anyway.(I had a raccoon and it didn’t break the perch)In addition to the occasional pest, I get several bird species daily and thanks to AI recognition I have learned there are so many birds that stick around in the winter. I also love the solar panel option. My feeder stays charged all the time so I don’t miss anything. I would highly recommend this feeder to birdwatchers of all kinds. Worth every penny.

The media could not be loaded. Super fun gift and I’ve loved all of the videos and knowledge I’ve gained since owning this! It also doubled as additional security for your home! Birds of all sizes have been able to feed from it and it’s very easy to fill up! We put the solar panel out as well so we’ve only had to charge the feeder once in the almost year we’ve owned it! It’s cute to look at but still minimal that it’s not an eye sore for our house! Looks just like the advertised photo. The app is extremely user friendly and the camera quality is fantastic!!

A terrific product and a wonderful gift! We spent countless hours watching the high-resolution clips captured by great camera! The solar panel has been effective in fully charging the Birdfy feeder - through cloudy and sunny days! The AI software is great, as identifies the birds as they visit the feeder. Customer service is extraordinary - they helped get us up to speed in taking advantage of all the features and functions. The microphone, alarm and light are great a shooing away squirrels and raccoons! We never had any idea we have so many different species of birds - we look forward to Spring and Summer when the migratory birds return!
