We bought this for my mom for an early birthday present. It's well made, it's easy to fill, and the camera quality is great. Note that you will need to purchase a subscription if you want the camera to identify different bird species (this is not included in the price of the product itself). I was a bit concerned about how much bird seed comes out (my mom was filling it every single day, or almost every day). But the company reached out to me directly to provide some possible solutions. It is RARE for a company to do that now days (and really care about making sure you love their product). We're going to try larger bird seed to see if that helps. Great product and fabulous customer service.

Works great! I gave it as a mother's day gift and she loved it. The setup was easy enough that she was able to get it going without any help and has enjoyed showing me pictures of all the new visitors to her yard! It surprisingly sturdy and was easy to fill with your choice of bird seed for your local birds. Overall, a great idea and a perfect gift for those who enjoy bird watching.

Pros: It is great to be able to sit in my house and have a close-up view of all the different birds while hearing their sounds. I like the saved 20-second video clips and also like that I can save my own live clips to any length. I rarely have a minute during the day where there is not a bird at my feeder. The solar charging is awesome. I have birds at my feeder keeping the camera busy all day taking photos and videos yet my battery is always showing full charge. Cons: I would gladly pay more for a feeder with the two following upgrades: 1. A larger hopper for the bird seed. Most days I need to fill the feeder two times. 2. Though I am very pleased with the video, I rate the picture quality as fair to good. Some pictures are good but most could be better. I find that the Cardinals really lack quality.
