Description

The Nespresso VertuoPlus Deluxe coffee and espresso machine brews 4 single- serve cup sizes just with the touch of a button. Each machine includes a complimentary welcome set with a range of Nespresso Vertuo capsules with unique aroma profiles. Nespresso Coffee and Espresso Machine makes use of dual size single-serve capsules for brewing either coffee or espresso with consistent flavor at the touch of a button. Nespresso VertuoPlus Deluxe uses large capsule for coffee and small for espresso and has patented Centrifusion extraction technology reads barcode on the rim of compatible single-serve capsules and automatically sets brewing parameters. The VertuoPlus Deluxe machine brews four cup sizes: 1.35 oz Espresso, 2.7 oz Double Espresso, 5.0 oz Gran Lungo, and 7.7 oz Coffee. I bought the VertuoPlus machine during Prime Days. I thought about buying it for a few years and finally pulled the trigger when it was on sale at a great price. I go to Starbucks once a day (and don't even love their espresso) so I knew this would be a money saver for me. I tried various espressos at friends' homes so I was satisfied that I would be happy with the espresso pods. My machine arrived Friday and I set it up Saturday morning. The first step is to run the rinsing process. I was having trouble getting the cycle to run so I called Customer Support. Someone answered on the second ring and walked me through the process via a video call. Turns out I was not waiting long enough before I turned on the machine to run the rinse cycle. Easy fix and it worked right away. She then offered to stay on the line while I made my first latte. Super easy and helpful. I also purchased the Aerocinno which makes the best foam! Very frothy and good mix of hot milk and foam. I made several lattes in a row as I was making them for friends. The machine worked great and it was fun experimenting with the sample coffee/espresso pods that were included with the machine. Overall, I wish I purchased this a few years ago! My payback will be fast and I like my custom lattes better than a Starbucks latte. And the excellent customer service is a bonus and definitely exceeded my expectations.     • How's this machine in 2024? Takes a minute to get used to but killer results

Had a weekend to try this out when I was housesitting for a friend; I couldn't believe the results. I'm normally someone who's into a more quality drink like a french press or similar, or maybe the occasional hot latte from Starbucks- I'll do drip coffee in a pinch but the quality this machine produces is aces, comparable to going out to the coffee shop. Yes, it's world's better than a Keurig. I personally decided on the matte black version. My go-to drink with this guy is mainly a double espresso pod with some frothed oat milk. Some here have mentioned the 7.7oz coffee pods taste kinda meh (just black, straight up); I think they're decent enough but again I got this with the extra Aeroccino 3 to make those extra creamy drinks. The crema results from the pods are super awesome too, one of the main reasons to get this unit in my opinion. Otherwise if you want straight black coffee I'd stick with drip/pourover/french press if you're mega picky and want to save some money (after all the package I bought was the unit + Aeroccino 3 for ~$200 including tax). I don't have much negative to say other than it took a minute to get the machine to perform an initial "clean" where it basically pumps hot water out a few times. Easy "get started" guide has simple instructions: plug the unit in, turn it on, fill up the water tower, and press the top button three times- I tried this step maybe 3-4 times and it didn't work until the 5th time, not sure why. Additionally, I also wished the AC plugs for the unit + frother were right-angled: they are heavy duty but they stick out a lot coming straight out of the wall. Like many others I don't have a lot of counter space in terms of depth. Otherwise we'll see how easy it is to descale this thing as I've heard a small % of folks had some issues. All in all I'm happy as I'm probably looking at under ~$1.80 a drink for my morning cups, which beats $5.00+ at Starbucks every morning. That and it probably takes 4-5 min to brew and cleanup. Gave this as a gift to my coffee loving daughter. She loves it! Everything works great. She has been reusing the pods by packing her own coffee and recovering them. This has worked well.     • Will not transfer water from reservoir to machine
So I have been watching the piece for this machine for a while know and finial decided to buy one on Prime day as the price was the best I have seen in a while. I received the machine and set it up and put water in the water reservoir per the instructions manual. The manual has limited descriptions in English and a pamphlets with pictures, which would be great if the machine worked like the very simple instructions and pictures would seem to indicate. But as I attempted to get the machine to transfer the water from the water reservoir to the machine to rinse the machine out b4 use. (To accomplish this you are supposed to have the top locked down, machine with power, and tap the coffee button 3 times in 2 sec) The machine makes the correct sounding noises as if water was moving from the reservoir, then being heated up, but no actual water has left the reservoir. I checked the reservoir to see if the was a price of plastic that I had failed to remove. But nothing is obstructing the flow path, beside a spring loaded valve seat on the bottom, that I’m able to easily move. That should in theory allow you to fill the reservoir without draining water all over the floor and lift when required to fill the machine. The Manuals troubleshooting guide is no help as the lights bing red after the machine has failed to transfer any water, doesn’t actually provide you with any useful information to fix the issue. So right know I have a very pretty expensive coffee machine decoration on my counter and no Coffee. ... show more

I never knew what I was missing. By far the BEST cup of coffee from a “pod” ever!!! I found the K brand to be bitter.. not here! Smooth and enjoyable cup of coffee from my Nespresso, and that crema on top! I’m my own barista. That frother adds an amazing level of fabulousness. I have frothed all sorts of milk products, oat, soy, heavy cream and even a protein shake!! If you love your coffee, don’t delay, get this now! ... show more

There hasn’t been one day that I have not used this machine since I purchased it. It makes amazing lattes and coffee with crema every single time. I also purchased the seals for the pods so I can use my own coffee and it great brews just as beautifully as a Nespresso pod.
