    • A Step Back in Quality and Convenience
TLDR: Replaced old Vertuo with a new model, faced multiple issues. Poor design, functionality problems, and disappointing coffee quality. I recently had to replace my old Vertuo Plus machine and decided to stick with the brand, but the new model I purchased has been a letdown. Right from the start, I encountered issues. The machine refused to complete the cleaning cycle, only presenting me with blinking lights that had no explanation in the manual. Speaking of the manual, it’s a jumble of 12 languages all mixed together in each section – a baffling and frustrating design choice. The machine also fails to eject the used cartridges, adding to the inconvenience. Another significant drawback is the water tank’s size; it's incredibly small, only managing to make about 4-5 cups before requiring a reset, which involves unplugging the machine. Additionally, the cartridge holder seems to collect water and coffee residue, necessitating a cleanup after every single use. This is not only time-consuming but also quite annoying. To top it off, the coffee quality itself is underwhelming. It tastes noticeably different and less enjoyable compared to what my old “Next” machine produced. The new machine also has a tendency to leak, creating more mess and hassle. After two weeks of persistent issues and growing frustration, I decided to return the machine. If it were possible, I would rate this product zero stars due to its poor design, lack of functionality, and the overall disappointing experience. It's a stark contrast to my previous Vertuo machine, which at least delivered good coffee without such troubles. ... show more

    • Wow, what a company.
For whatever reason, the original machine brewed coffee but failed to produce the crema that the Nespresso machine is so well known for from their ads. When contacted about that, their customer service representative spent an hour with me on a video call, brewing several cups of coffee to try to find the problem. When it became apparent that, after many attempts, the crema was not going to materialize, they simply sent me a new machine and even replaced all of the coffee pods used to test the machine. Fast forward 14 months, after the warranty expired, their customer service rep was again contacted to assist with a problem. The machine appeared to start to brew coffee but would immediately shut down, and there was no apparent error message to indicate what the problem was. While the service rep originally thought the machine simply needed to be cleaned, the problem persisted. After two subsequent video calls to investigate the cause further, they simply said they were sending us a new machine. An impressive response. ... show more

    • haven’t used my kurig since I purchased this.
I use this machine mainly for cups of coffee rather than espresso shots but for the short amount of time it takes for it to brew a cup it also makes a very nice cup of of coffee, the one downfall is it does not like to pour one pod after the other due it overheating, but if you make one cup for yourself in the morning then it is perfect. ... show more

...it leaks water from underneath. Not much, but enough that I need to move it and soak up the water after three or four uses. Otherwise, I love it.

    • Great coffee
We got one at work and I decided to get one for home. This is the best coffee. I have put my Keurig away, the coffee just doesn't taste as good as Nespresso. Hands down the best coffee ever, good and strong! I do prefer Breville over DeLonghi.
