The media could not be loaded. She would tell you how much she absolutely loves this thing. She knows when the gun comes out it’s time to play. It gets great air but not too much that we can’t play in the backyard. Pretty easy on the hands to load and shoot. Only complaint is the balls are awful. We only got 1 or 2 days out of them then they are just soggy falling apart messes. When replacing go with some cheap medium tennis balls or a plastic bouncy one and not the nerf brand. ... show more

It would periodically not shoot out and the bands inside broke after a couple of months, I kept inside and took good care of it. I expected it to last longer

This is my second Nerf Dog Compact Tennis Ball Blaster, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. The first one broke after many months of daily use—the rubber band inside that creates tension for shooting eventually snapped, likely due to daily wear and tear. The hands-free reload feature is incredibly convenient and adds an extra layer of fun for my dog, who loves trying to stop me from reloading. Compared to other ball launchers I’ve tried, this one is the sturdiest, with thicker plastic that holds up well to frequent use.     • It doesn't last.
I had this product for fewer than 14 days, and it broke. The trigger was very hard to depress at first, but did loosen over time. However, today day 12 of use, it stopped firing. The mechanism that grabs the ball and pulls it back still works, but the band or whatever creates tension or resistance to shoot the ball no longer works, rendering the product useless. ... show more

I didn’t read closely enough about this when buying and thought you could load all 3 balls at once, then just shoot one at a time. You can’t. It’s a one at a time thing, just backup balls included. My brother bought this for his dog as she is ball retrieving obsessed and loves it. So I got it for mine as well, but he is scared of it. Won’t chase after any ball that comes out of this. It works alright, but doesn’t throw the ball that far. I can easily throw the ball just as far, and a lot further with my chuck-it using hardly any effort. It doesn’t seem worth it unless you either have an injury you can’t throw the ball, or are spending an excessive amount of time repeatedly throwing a ball. ... show more

    • A really fun toy
This item came in very handy for me and my dog, we both are enjoying it. The only issue I find a problem with is that sometimes the trigger is very hard to pull, especially when you first pick it up.
