Update: The price went up! Aagh! Not happy about that. I just bought this toy so that happened fast. : ( I love this little birdie! My cats love it too ... well, one of my cats, the 9 year old, has taken this bird for herself so I have to order more. LOL. I got this bird yesterday, plugged it in on the kitchen counter, went to the store, came home to find the bird on the floor. One of them found it so the catnip inside must be good! This bird is so cute! And soft! And sweet. And I very happy with my purchase. I wish there was a two-fer deal for the sandpiper though, because I don't really want to spend another $26 bucks to get 2 more but I really need one for each cat, but I like the sandpiper. Maybe I will choose the other birds... I wish I could afford to order a case of these! Haha. My cats are fussy about toys and I have wasted money in the past, like on the floppy fish. Ended up giving it to my son for his cat, who liked it. But this they all seem to like. Not sure how long it will hold up but it did charge quickly. I hope it lasts while we are on vacation, to keep them entertained. My only beef is the catnip pouch... I didn't think it was included at first because it wasn't in the box. Directions say it's in the belly of the bird. So I had to take out the mechanism and then I think I found the pouch but it seemed attached inside... ? So not sure about that or how to refill... idk. And then getting the mechanism back inside the bird so it worked properly was a little bit of a challenge for me, but then, I'm blond. Haha. I got everything put back together and it's all good. The velcro on the bird is strong which is good. Follow the directions on the cute box, which one of my cats liked, and you will be fine. I have to check out their other products. The day we received it, my grownup cat played with it for two hours without getting bored. She had snubbed the previous plush toys, sniffed them once, and turned her back. One of the good things about this toy is that it stayed charged up for a long time. After having been played with for hours, the bird was still chirping and flapping its wings the following day. This is a big plus as some other similar toys need to be charged after a short period. It was an impulse purchase but I’m very pleased that I did. She loves it and plays with it without getting board for hours. I can easily say that this is one of the best chargeable cat toys I’ve ever bought. First of all, some toys do their tricks once you push the button and then you have to keep on pushing the button to re-activate the toy again and again. This seriously interferes the game. My cat takes a position to attack and jumps on the sandpiper, and it starts to chirp and to flap its wings, here I have hours of fun or maybe better if I say she has hours of fun. She just goes crazy biting and scratching. And it is not because of catnip as she doesn’t care for catnip. I can imagine that the cats who like catnip will have double the fun. Once this toy is activated, it chirps and flaps wings and after it stops, it starts chirping and moving every time my cat hits it with her paw. It worked for two days straight without needing to be charged pretty fast. Secondly, it reaches full charge in little longer than an hour. The last but not the least, wonderful feature is that it has USB C. When all other USB’s are fading out, you won’t have to search for a cable with USB A, mini or micro should you misplace or lose cable that were supplied. I almost forgot to say that I like that you can remove and wash the shell. I am a relatively new cat mom. My 2 year old cat will play with very little on his own. He may bat a bell across the floor but then he's done. He loves this toy!!! Definitely seems to think its a real bird. I put it down for him once a day or so and its good for 10 minutes of romping and rolling. Thats a winner. The battery lasts a long time and it chirps and flaps as long as he's touching it, which is good. I just bought another brand and it won't chirp and flap unless I go over and hit it kind of hard. It is far cuter in person than on the video! Well made. My cat loved it for 10 minutes. It just sits (fallen over) on the floor making lots of noise. I don't know if it is just too loud for Kitty or if it is the wrong shape to kick. It is too heavy to carry around like he does with mice and feather toys. It is extremely cute. I tried gluing peacock feathers (3 to 4" ones) to a piece of fabric with Fabric Fusion and sticking then in the butt where you can close the velcro around it. The Velcro still held-wow! I love this Cat Toy. My cats wanted this before I could even get it charged up. The cat nip is strong and they just grab it and lick it. I had to buy another one because they would fight over the toy. I think it is a great value for the toy. It is so fun to watch them play with this.

My 3 cats love it! It's so cute. My oldest cat was rubbing up against it like it was a loved toy. It's cute, it's really soft and plush, which I think that's why my oldest cat rubbed against it and it's got feathers on its tail. You set it on the floor and wait for the cat to go over to it and nudge it then it takes off, twirping and jumping, with wings flying! It's a great toy. It's really cute. My cats love this toy. I don't know if it's the sound, the fact that they can throw it in the air with their mouths, or the moving but they keep playing with it. Usually, they grow bored of most of their toys but this one is a different story. To me, the battery life could be improved but it's not bad. It lasts several hours of continuous play and a few days with moderate play. Fair warning, the noise can be loud so make sure to turn it off at night or else you will be woken up by chirping!
