Q1: WATER OR STEAM DO NOT COME OUT A1: Espresso machines may encounter issues with water or steam not coming out due to air blockage, please follow the instructions below to operate the machine. (1) Click the on/off button to switch on the machine. (2)Click the coffee button and let the water flow out of the brewing head for a while, after that, click the coffee button again. This step will help to expel air from the coffee line and will help to clean the brewing head. (3)Please rotate the Steam Dial to the MAX position and wait until the air is released and water starts to flow. Allow the water to flow for about 20 seconds, then turn off the Steam Dial. This step will help to discharge air and unwanted condensate from the steam pipes. (4)Press the Steam button, when the Steam button stop flashing, rotate the Steam Dial for the machine to operate normally. Q2: TOO MUCH WATER WHEN BREW THE COFFE A2: regarding the pressure, as it can be influenced by various factors, including: (1) The roast level of the coffee beans and the grind size. We recommend using medium to dark roast coffee beans, ground to a slightly coarser texture than flour. This helps ensure proper extraction. (2) The amount of coffee grounds used. We suggest the following measurements: Single shot: 9-10g (1 flat spoon) of coffee grounds. Double shot: 17-18g (2 flat spoons) of coffee grounds. (3) The tamping pressure. We suggest apply a pressure of around 13 kilograms of force. After tamping, the surface of the coffee should be approximately 1-2mm below the filter rim. Q3: LOUD NOISE WHEN USE THE MILK PITCHER A3: The correct method is to lower the milk pitcher so that the steam wand’s nozzle tip is slightly exposed above the milk surface, allowing air to enter the milk. This technique will prevent excessive noise while frothing. Q4: WOULD LIKE A HOTTER CUP OF COFFEE A4: (1)Place cups in the hot cup area before making coffee. (2)Before attaching the portafilter, let the brewing head run out of the water for a while. (3)Soak the portafilter in hot water, or attach the portafilter and let the water from the brewing head run.

For the price, this little espresso machine is surprisingly impressive. . It produces amazing crema and has plenty of power in the steam wand to froth milk. You can make a really good latte, cappuccino—and, if you know what you’re doing, even pull off some decent latte art. Now, the **quality of the espresso itself is another story. If that’s your primary concern, this probably isn’t the machine for you. I’ve owned three Breville Barista machines and even a $3,100 Lelit Bianca. I eventually got rid of the Bianca because it took about 30 minutes to heat u. This little guy is ready in a few minutes. I’m currently in between buying another $1,000\-or so espresso machine, so I needed something inexpensive and quick. . For that purpose, this machine has been a pleasant surprise. My biggest concern is the construction. There’s a of plastic, and I seriously doubt this thing is going to survive a year of daily use\. But for $120 what exactly do you expect—a La Marzocco? I bought the two year warranty for another $25, mostly because…why not? I plan to leave this machine on the countertop when I rent my house and put my good machine safely away. Bottom line: What do you expect for $120? This machine delivers plenty if you know what you’re doing. The crema is genuinely impressive, the steam wand has more power than I expected, and you can make a very respectable cappuccino, latte, or cortado. If you really picky about your espresso and drink it straight, spend the money for something else and don’t be a cheapskate. One tip: buy a small milk temperature thermometer. You don’t want to overheat your mill . I aim for around 145°F**, although anywhere from 145–160°F is generally workable. I prefer mine on the cooler side. I was actually compelled to write this review because I was shocked by what this little $120 machine could do. Seriously, look at some of the videos online. Then look at the foam on my cappuccino—you can see just how good the microfoam can be **For $120, I honestly expected a toy that didn’t work Instead, I got a surprisingly capable little toy espresso machine.

More than a year of heavy use and it still makes spectacular coffee.

I bought this coffee maker over a year ago and it's been one of the best purchases I've made for my kitchen. Before, I used a traditional electric coffee maker, and on days when I got up late for work, I had to rush out the door without time to enjoy a good cup of coffee. With this machine, that changed, because it heats up quickly and in just a few minutes I have a delicious espresso ready to start my day. At home, it's used several times a day, and after more than a year of constant use, it still works just as well as the first day. The coffee comes out with an intense, very aromatic flavor and excellent crema. The steam wand also works very well for making cappuccinos and lattes. One of the features I like most is the portafilter, as it allows you to make one or two cups depending on your needs. It's very practical when I want to make coffee for myself or someone else. The materials feel durable, it takes up little space, and cleaning is easy. Despite daily use, it has never given me any problems. Based on my experience, try not to let the water tank run completely dry. It happened to me once, and air got into the system, so the coffee maker stopped brewing until I could refill it. Since then, I always check the water level before using it, and I haven't had that problem again.After using it several times a day for over a year, I can say that it has exceeded my expectations.

Machine works well. Do all coffee shots first and then steam your milk for all espressos after does not transition from steam mode back to brew mode without cooling machine down and releasing steam. Would of given 5 stars if that was smoother process. Does not take much room on counter. But otherwise good value for the dollars.

Nice machine — great value

Huge value for your money. I have had many high end espresso machines over the years, but for the money, this machine wins. The build quality and ruggedness is clearly not the same as a low to mid-priced Gagia, buts it only $100 and makes terrific espresso. I love its compact design, ease of use, simplicity, and the milk frother. It has some quirks, like if you use the frother, it needs to be cooled down by open frother and letting it run water, but it’s all workable. I saw a review of this in some magazine, thought I’d take a shot (pun intended) and very happy with it. I’ve used different beans for it, but found the Lavazza Super Crema works best for me.

I have no financial benefit from this review. After reading negative/positive reviews for this Neretva Espresso Coffee Machine - 1/2 Cups/Frother, I decided to purchase. Although I've only had it since 8/27/25 (writing this review 8/31), I am convinced the bad reviews are because the buyers didn't read the instructions. This was obvious to me because of complaints about the "error messages" and water exiting the steam wand. I was not familiar with espresso machines, and am new at wanting to learn how to brew espresso and other coffee beverages, so had to also look at You Tube videos after reading the instruction booklet that comes with the machine. After experimenting since the machine was delivered, today I was able to make a Flat White. I had several failures using the frother/steam wand. So, there was a learning curve for me. Although I have only been using this machine for 5 days, I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend for anyone who doesn't want to spend more than $100. I would give the warming tray a "D", but everything else an "A". Instead of the warming tray, I pour boiling water in my cup (and empty prior to brewing the espresso), while I'm getting everything ready. The suction cups are very strong, so I decided to put the machine on a small, hard placemat, as it's much easier to move the placemat around than to unstick the suction cups from the counter top to move it around. Also, I needed to purchase a metal pitcher to steam/froth the milk per You Tube videos. Because this is an inexpensive machine and because Neretva does not have a brick/mortar I can call directly, I purchased a 4-yr. warranty. I learned through the internet Neretva has been around since 2008, but it's a global, e-commerce, brand that manufactures and sells a range of small, electric kitchen appliances, mainly through Amazon and Walmart, to consumers who want convenient, affordable appliances for making coffee, bread and a few other foods at home. I have no clue as a consumer how to contact them; hence, the warranty. 9/10/25 Update: I still recommend this espresso machine, but wanted to offer a tip due to what happened to me this morning making my daily espresso. I set everything up to just plug in the machine and press the button before I left for about an hour to do my daily laps in the pool. When I came home, I plugged in the machine and pressed the power button while I took a quick shower. Ten minutes later I was ready for my espresso so pushed the 2 shot button, waited and during what I call the countdown, nothing happened. I did this again, and no espresso came out. Reviewed the Trouble Shooting page. Quickly I realized that the water tank was empty, went through the process again with a full water tank, but the machine did not produce any espresso. Then I removed the Portafilter (which was in correctly) and saw a few coffee grounds on the rim of the Portsfilter (which I hadn't noticed when I got everything ready). I thought "Surely a few grounds wouldn't prevent the machine from working?", but I brushed off the grounds with a very small paint brush I use for this purpose, put the Portafilter into position and VOILA, got my cup of espresso. One might not want a machine that is so sensitive. Okay; I get it. Then spend more money. For me, I'd rather discover the quirks. Just thought this info might be helpful.
