I have to be honest and admit that I picked up this espresso machine simply because it's green. I'm a bit of an artsy kind of girl and color espresso machines other than your standard black white stainless steel are very hard to find. This beautiful olive color is absolutely stunning and fits me to a T. While the color and design are aesthetically pleasing to my eye and fit in with my lifestyle I was pleasantly surprised at the functionality of this appliance. I am an artist and I was looking for something for my studio which is located in a shed at our backyard. I'm working on a Facebook client or when I have a client and who is commissioning a piece it is nice to be able to offer them some type of an espresso or coffee based beverage without running to the house to get the beverages prepared. Because I tend to work at many odd hours like a lot of artists it's handy to have these items in my studio when I need them. While I have nowhere close to a professional barista this machine definitely makes me feel like I am slinging espresso at the local coffee shop. My husband has helped me set this up with a burr grinder and we have dialed in the perfect grind setting to pull the most delicious espresso shots I have ever tasted with the exception of the ones that come out of the really expensive machine in the house. I love that the water tank holds a lot if I don't always have to stop in the middle of the process for refilling. Whether I'm making iced or hot drinks the espresso tastes great. I found the steam wand easier to operate than on the expensive machine I have inside. Machine is very simple and straightforward even though it has a beautiful LCD display. It's definitely not intimidating. Wow we have owned our in-house espresso machine several years my husband does most of the making so I consider myself quite a bit of a beginner. This is very simple and straightforward I will have you an expert mode very quickly. The machine comes to temperature quickly and holds the correct temperature to get the espresso shot made. Definitely highly recommended for someone who wants a little bit of eye candy on their counter.

The media could not be loaded. I have been using the Neretva Espresso Machine (15 Bar, LCD Display, Green) for a few weeks now, and I am very happy. As a daily coffee drinker and occasional home barista, this machine strikes the perfect balance between form and function. Stylish Design, the green color is absolutely gorgeous and gives my kitchen a retro-chic vibe. It is a real conversation starter. It is Easy to Use, the LCD display is intuitive, and the ability to switch between manual and auto modes is a big plus. I love having control when I want to experiment, but also appreciate the simplicity of one-touch brewing. Great Espresso, the 15-bar pressure delivers rich crema and bold flavor. My shots come out consistently smooth and well-balanced. Milk Frother Works Great, steams milk quickly and with good texture, perfect for cappuccinos and lattes. Generous Water Tank, the 60oz tank means fewer refills and more convenience, especially if you are making drinks for multiple people. It takes a minute or less to warm up, but that is typical for machines in this range, I think is one of the quickest ones that I use. I describe this one as simple as it gets, the same as the cleaning process easy and fast. If you are looking for an affordable, attractive, and reliable espresso machine for home use, this is a fantastic choice. Whether you are just getting into espresso or already know your way around a portafilter, the Neretva Espresso Machine delivers both style and performance. This one is definitely worth a try.

The media could not be loaded. We've been using espresso makers of various types and prices for close to 30 years, and are always interested to try a new one and see what a different model is like. Overall, my first impression is that this is a pretty good machine, though if I could I'd give it a 3.5 because I do think it's priced a little high given the compromises. It is a very attractive machine (love the green), and is roughly the same vertical height as our current one, though twice as wide. The toggle switches are a fun touch, and I personally prefer them to color changing LEDs. I've included a photo that shows most of the vertical 'key points' are even the same height, with the big exception of the steam wand. It's truly too low, as shown in the last half of the video. There's no clear reason why, just be aware it becomes a bigger deal once you have a pitcher full of frothed milk. The filter outlets are also quite low so you'll need shot cups or low mugs. You can take off the silver grate to fit a larger mug, but this machine does seem to discharge water into the tray regularly and the mug bottom could get wet. Setup and preparation was very standard, the longest part was running through an entire tank of water - which is actually a great feature. The water tank is quite large, and for us would be 2-3 days of our usual coffees instead of refilling every day. Water heating is very quick, both for startup and switching to steam. Pressure and shot volume vary based on your grind and tamping, so be prepared to experiment until you find the right combination. The video shows our standard espresso grind and a 30# tamp generating about 6 bar of pressure, which resulted in a slightly less flavorful shot. It wasn't bad, just not as good as we know the coffee can be, and I have to wonder if a 20 bar pump would have helped, and made this a better value. Related to this is the placement of the pressure gauge, it really is too low and hard to see for monitoring the effect of changes to the grind & tamp. Finally, while I enjoy the switches and the easy to read time & temp display, there's not enough control over the timing or volume of shots, or if you're pulling a single/double. Being able to adjust these settings would make finding the right grind/tamp/extraction combination just a bit easier. The manual switch is a good candidate for being programmable, since I expect most people will prefer the auto-shutoff of the auto (double shot) switch.
