Ok… I researched bread makers and read reviews for a few days. I kept going back to this one due to reviews and the beautiful appearance and modern look of the machine. Yesterday I ordered it and was determined to try it out. We searched recipes that included ingredients we had on hand. We landed on French bread recipe in the book that came with the machine though we did not have bread flour. Determined to try it I opted to use standard store bought flour. I added all ingredients in the order it said and watched the machine knead the dough. It was fascinating how it switches course to mix the dough well and pick up the parts stuck to the side of the baking box. It was around 8:30 when I started so I fell asleep on the process which was going to be around 3 hours. I woke up to a fresh smelling hot loaf of bread 🥖 in the middle of the night. A perfect little 🍞 loaf!!! I am thrilled with this machine and also ordered the cookbook that one reviewer recommended. I did wrap it in foil while warm which you Should NOT do. This morning when I woke to slice and freeze it , it had sweat a bit and had some moisture on top. So be sure to let it cool thoroughly before storing. I highly recommend this machine. It is not loud to me at all. And it’s a beautiful machine which is definitely a plus!! ... show more

Very easy to use! I also like that it is attractively made and won't be an eyesore if you leave it out in your kitchen. It mixes the dough well and bakes the bread perfectly. Tip: When a recipe says you can use butter instead of oil, and an egg in place of all of the water, try it! It's so nice to bake fresh bread that only has a handful of ingredients but, if I'm being perfectly honest, I must confess that the store-bought bread that contains 27+ chemicals and preservatives vs 5-7 honest ingredients, can sometimes tastes soooo much better when compared to the simple bread.... However, there are MANY bread recipes to try! ... show more

I have had two Cuisinart machines in the past. I have found this one makes a better loaf of bread. It has two heating elements so the bread is less dense than with the other machines. It is also takes less time for a loaf to bake. The bread pan has a smooth finish so the loaf slides out easily. It’s compact so it fits where my other machine was. I would recommend it. ... show more

If I could give this six stars I would. It really is set and forget, and it made me feel so much better about what I ate. Even after getting into sourdough, I still have this out so I can throw the ingredients in and come home to the smell of fresh baked bread. After having this for a couple years I lost the recipe book and it was impossible to find online so I reached out to the seller and they provided me with a digital version right away. 10/10 service. I was looking for a bread maker and chose this one. For the price it is a really good value. It has a lot of different functions like a setting to make yogurt, pizza dough, different types of breads and many other functions. It is quiet except for when it needs the dough and even then it is not loud at all. The ingredient list is short but you can use the ingredients that you want. The loaf is pretty small and the shape is almost square but it is rectangular. The bread quality is very good. Because the whole thing is metal the entire unit is hot right after or during the bread making process. It does cool down quickly though. ... show more
