Good product at a good price point. I started using Neotec products last year when my Echo chainsaw failed and repair could not be justified. After my experience with the first saw I bought a total of three small chainsaws to supplement my larger saws. Reviews of those products are available on Amazon- They were and are excellent performers, EASY STARTING, light and conservatively simply designed. This blower replaces a Husqvarna blower. My old Husqvarna blower failed after 5 years, a good performance, and I replaced it with a new Husqvarna blower. The difference was immediate- hard to start, not as powerful, and after about 5 months (only 5-6 hours of operation!) it became impossible to start. I troubleshot and replaced carburetor and spark module, to no avail. If replacement of the cylinder and piston was required it would be more than half the cost of a new Husqvarna blower. Instead, based on my experience with Neotec saws, I decided to give them a try. I got a new blower for half the cost a new Husqvarna. After filling with the proper fuel mixture, following the starting instructions, It started on the third easy pull. The choke is simple, so it requires a manual disengagement after start. I let the engine warm up and ran it in doing intermittent medium to high throttle operations. Restart is one easy pull when the engine is warm. The blower is lighter than the Husqvarna, and it does not run at as high an operating speed. Power is adequate, not overpowering, As per the Neotec saws, I believe that the engine uses a two compression ring design for which results in a lower top speed, but results in better sealing and longer life. Time will tell. Even though the oil/gas mixture is 25/1 vs 50/1 for Husqvarna, I could detect no difference in the amount of smoke emitted. Noise level was less than the Husqvarna, according to my wife, who offered this information unsolicited. In short, I am well pleased so far, and well pleased with these Neotec products so far. My preference is to buy American wherever possible, (and I get GREAT SERVICE FROM MY SUPER WELL MADE HIGH QUALITY SWEDISH HUSQVARNA SAWS) BUT where are the American products THAT WILL COMPETE? They need to get busy if they want to stay in business.

The media could not be loaded. This Backpack Blower operates well above its weight class. It is lightweight comfortable cranks and operates very smoothly. With its anti-vibe you don't even know it's on your back. No problems with initial start and no problems with restart. Assembly took all of 10 minutes and that was taking my time. If you looking for a blower that's lightweight, powerful, very smooth, and also very affordable.... you won't go wrong with this one!!!

The media could not be loaded. This blower compares favorably to entry-level Stihl and Husqvarna models. It comes in three sections and assembles in a couple of minutes with no tools. Being new, and using an oil-heavy fuel mix, it was a little cold natured but give it minute to warm up and it runs well. The attached video shows the blower being ran at roughly 75% throttle for the most part. At full throttle it will smoke slightly but I think that is due to the 25 to 1 mixture for break-in. It is slightly heavier than a Stihl BG50 but the air speed seems very similar. Overall the blower feels solid and performs as it should. One criticism is the location of the purge bulb. It is not ideal to manipulate, especially for larger hands. Other than that it performs well and the price is exceptional. For a homeowner needing a low-cost blower, it’s a great choice.

The media could not be loaded. I’m yet to see another blower compare to the price / performance of this unit. The video speaks for itself, but this is a great backpack blower. Plenty of power, comfortable, and large gas tank. If I didn’t know how much it cost, I would guess it’s a $500 blower. This is my second Neotec product, and won’t be my last.
