Hi all, I have used this saw for a couple of hours now and I can say that it’s pretty damn good. It’s a very powerful saw, and it creates some good cookies and slabs. My only issue is the shipping, I received the bar first, then the power head 3 days later; the only problem is that they did not associate the tracking numbers with each other, so I was very confused when I only saw the bar. The saw itself is quite hefty, and most of it feels stout; however, there are some cheap plastic pieces and no lock nuts. I will probably be modifying mine to include the lock nuts. The tool pouch is filled with great goodies, everything you’ll need to run the saw and keep it maintained (apart from gasoline of course). The pouch itself broke apart fairly quickly (zipper fell off), so I replaced it with a better bag, but very useful nonetheless. (Biggest surprise was the extra sprockets for other chain pitches) I bought this saw for my Alaskan mill, and I am throughly satisfied with the speed at which it runs. I will be tuning the saw after giving it some time to run and settle in. Probably going to also buy a couple more bars for it! ... show more

    • Not so good now
Chainsaw started off great would start two to three pulls every time. Ran great for first 6 months now can't get it started. Replaced carburetor and all filters and hoses and still nothing. Got no help from customer service.

The saw works very well. It cuts fast and has alot of power. Sure it weighs a little bit but the amount of work you can do with one tank of fuel is more than a underpowered saw. So get more done faster. Used it at sea level and as high as 8500ft elevation.. Minor tune is all that's required. May want to get a 12 dollar tachometer for that. ... show more

You get what you pay for. I understand it's not a $2,000 Stihl, but damn; at least have some sort of QC. I'm trying to assemble it, but the handle doesn't line up correctly to the holes on the chainsaw, bumper spike holes don't line up and can't even attach it to the chainsaw, the fuel tank plate won't line up straight to attach either, and its missing a bolt to attach a spike. I Tried reaching out to the company and customer service to send a replacement unit, parts, or something equivalent or similar from their neotec site. Nope. Basically, just told me and acknowledge that their products are not perfect and to just force bolts and screws in to make it fit and work. Also, to just go out somewhere and buy any missing nuts and bolts. I've read some good reviews that the chainsaw actually works decent, but I wouldn't know. Unless I modify parts just to be able to assemble it. Maybe if you get lucky and get one that was 90% assembled with higher standards, then it could be a decent chainsaw. Save your money. Buy another brand. ... show more
