    • Kinda surprised.
I was pleasantly surprised by this chair. Fairly easy to assemble, but genuinely the surprise came from the comfort and support. When writing a review, Amazon has suggestions of things to say and I've said them, but only because they're true. I bought this chair because I'm a big guy and this chair advertised good support for larger people. After i got it out together and sat in it for the first time I was blown away. Not because it's the most comfortable chair you can buy, but because a chair this affordable came through with their advertised promises. Cost aside I'd still give it a four out of five stars, but I'm giving it five because I don't know that you could beat this comfort at this price. ... show more

    • Wheel broke after two months.
My wife uses this chair at her desk in her classroom. This morning, (9-28-22), she sat in her chair and one of the wheels broke off of the wheel support. She is unable to use this new chair because it is no longer safe.

I loved the chair at first, as it's very comfortable. However, my first issue with it was the wheels did not feel very supportive. Even on hardwood floor, you usually have to fenangle the chair position to get the wheels to roll the chair. I'd usually just keep it in place. Over time, two wheels broke. One fell off and wouldn't seem to fit on properly, the other the plastic exterior broke. The wheels on this chair are so cheap and impractical that it may as well just have stationary feet that function at keeping the chair in place. And after the wheels broke, the chair is now not level, so it usually spins me out of place unless I keep my feet on the ground. The chair is comfortable, I'll give it that, but just try to wheel yourself around on it as little as possible. Definitely not worth the price given the cheapness of the wheels, but overall it's comfortable enough to sit on. ... show more

This chair is pretty decent. Assembly is pretty easy to follow from the directions. I will say I have had to tighten my chair a couple of times since I have gotten it. For the price it is hard to complain. I use it for my classroom.

I've been using this office chair for a few weeks now. I work from home and quite long hours. It is very comfortable and the assembly was fairly easy. I'm not a young woman and was able to do it by myself. I think this chair is good value for money.

Needed an office desk chair to work from home in. Since I would be working 8 plus hours a day, I wanted a comfortable chair. I also wanted a chair that was sturdy and had a metal wheelbase. This chair was one of the few in the range I wanted to work within that has a metal wheelbase. It’s an attractive piece. Also, the weigh capacity for this chair is approximately 300 lbs. I’m around 225 lbs, which was another reason, I went with this chair, I wanted something I knew would support my weight. I just finished assembling the chair and have only sat in it for a few minutes. Here is my early review. I would have given a higher rating if it weren’t for some minor blemishes in the appearance I spotted immediately out of the box. First, the paint had several scratch marks on one of the arms. There was a dark mark on the bottom seat cushion that did not easily rub off with a spit rub. I’m not sure if it is a mark or tiny tear, but I decided not to mess with it too much and potentially make it worse. The other arm of the chair, which the arms are made of a hard plastic (for some reason not metal), had a gouge in it and was split about a half of an inch or so. Probably damaged in shipping, though package looked undamaged. As far as the assembly of the chair, I did not find it very difficult. I completely assembled in approximately 20 minutes by myself. Assembly tip: Screw in screws prior to assembling arms and back cushion. Some of the material from the cushions slightly cover holes. Also, do not tighten screws before arms and back cushion are all attached. I would advise to lifting arms up (if laying cushion on its side, so screws go all the way down into the holes straight. Tighten screws while lifting up on the arms to ensure they go in straight. If you have put together a desk, bookcase or chair before, you should not have a problem with this chair. My final point of this review is in regards to the comfort of this chair. Again, I have only sat in it for a few minutes and I will update this review later if it becomes necessary. However, as of this writing, I am fairly pleased with the comfort of this chair. It also feels pretty darn sturdy! At my size, it doesn’t feel overwhelmed and appears to be able to support someone much larger. While sitting, there’s at least 3 to 4 inches of room on both sides of me. I do not feel restricted at all. Furthermore, with the back of the chair in locked position, in my opinion, there is very good support. Nothing feels uncomfortable. My only being picky issue would be the cushioning on the arm rests could be thicker and softer; but it’s nothing major. Quite frankly, this chair feels better than my office chair where I work (which I’m sure is a more expensive chair). In conclusion, in an early review, I’d like to give a glowing report, but the minor blemishes immediately out the box, annoyed me pretty quickly. However, the relatively easy assembly, combined with the sturdiness and comfort allows me to recommend this product at this time. ... show more

I had this chair for over a year and needed a new one as it was wore down. I use it a lot and i feel as though a year for a chair priced this low is a good deal. I tried 3 different more expensive chairs and took them all back and ended up buying this one again. It’s comfortable, leans back at a good angle.
