Bit of a love hate. Love the motion sensor. Seems to work well where I mounted the unit. If you have replaced an incandescent light with an LED, you know the color and brightness is noticeable? This unit didn’t do that for me. Yes it was cool white, but the brightness was missing that noticeable effect. It serves the purpose where placed, but might replace it if I find something brighter. It does have lots of good adjustments to point the light where needed. It. Appears to have two modes that I don’t recall reading in the instructions and it cycles through them with the single switch. It’s either on for 30 seconds or all night, and there really isn’t a way to tell except to walk away and see if it shuts off. Mounting was easy with two screws. IMO, price to value ratio is ok if light is needed somewhere.

This light was fairly easy to install. I liked the fact that it is secured with two screws, as I have another light that uses only one, so if the plastic fails at that spot, you are done. I liked that the three lights can be rotated somewhat. I have this between my house and my neighbor, so when it is activated, the line shines down a line between our houses and not just straight out. I liked that part a lot. Motion sensitivity was perfect, and has worked so far without issue. Brightness is very good. The one aspect I did not like, though, is that you mount a small bracket and then the light simply slips in to the bracket. It is not secured in any way other than gravity. My concern is that a big wind gust could dislodge it, or an unsavory character could simply push it up and out of the holder. I would have preferred an integrated design that would be a lot more secure. Other than that, though, I like the light.

Often, the hardest part about securing remote sections of property is powering your solution. Enter these solar powered lights. They charge enough during the day to respond to a lot of activity in the night. The unit is compact and lightweight. It's easy enough to mount, but the supplied mount has a design flaw. The mount fixes the solar panel in place. An improved design would allow repositioning of the solar panel and lights post installation. The device is so light that I think it's unlikely to suffer a lot of damage from a fall, though i'm not about to test that. The device is advertised to turn on for 30 seconds. This unit is slightly variable - turning on for 30 to 43 seconds at a time. This is not a big deal, just notable. First time users should be aware that the unit will not turn on during the day - if it senses light, it remains dormant. tl;dr decent kit for 19 bucks. Would buy again.

This is a solar powered security light that can be mounted anywhere where there is sun exposure. I have this dark corner of my house that does not have any wiring, so rather than hire an electrician to run a power wire, I wanted to see if the solar security light can handle the job. Installation is super easy. I just screwed the bracket into the side of my house with the included mounting hardware, and the light hangs right on top of it, making sure the light is turned on first. The light turns on when it senses motion, and stays on for 30 seconds or so. The 2000mAh battery will last all night with no issues, since this light is not on all the time. The light is very bright, and the side panels can be adjusted at different angles, making it very convenient to mount in different locations. Overall, I highly recommend this security light for anyone looking to illuminate any dark corners. It is simple to install and requires no wiring at all.

I have reviewed about 20 different types of solar LED lights. There seems to be about 4 different control boards that are used, and this is one of the simplest ones, it is just on or off. The only mode it has is on when motion is detected. The board that I really like is the one that has about 5 different modes including a always on mode, this one does not have that. Just on with motion detection or off. The good thing about only having a single mode is that you can probably put this in a shady area and still get enough solar charging for a normal traffic area. The build quality on this is pretty good, it is all plastic, the only bad part is the mounting bracket is not incredibly confidence inspiring but gets the job done. I also have the larger (275 LED) version of this... not much difference that I can see.

I have reviewed quite a few of these solar LED lights. This is one of the most simple ones I have reviewed, it only has two modes. Off and On when motion is detected. Because it is likely to be powered on infrequently (of course that depends on the amount of traffic you get in the area you put it in) it should be ok if it is not in bright light all day long. I have these mounted on my walking trails in very covered woods and they have not never turned on. Plastics on this is pretty good, I am only knocking off points for the single mode and because the mounting is kind of flimsy. I have the version of this with 275 LED's, it is a little bigger but I cannot really tell the difference in light output so I would stick with this one.

I placed an order for this solar light to be installed in the far side of my yard, where we have no power. Being that it was in the far corner of the yard, I mounted the light against the side of a tall tree that was growing in the corner. I screwed in the light bracket and and clipped in the light and solar part in place. The solar panel is angled towards the afternoon sun and was mounted about 7 feet off the ground. The solar panel seems to charge it well, and the motion detection works very well. It seems to last through the night and worked even when I walked by at dawn.

These are excellent solar lights but the mounting screws didn't hold for our installation. We need to find another way to keep the solar light mounted. Overall, the light was strong and provided our driveway with the light needed to feel safe via motion sensor.
