Just recently picked up a Pocket 3 and wanted to mount that on my Neewer cage for capturing some behind the scenes footage of my sessions. This is just what I needed. Super easy to use and install, and feels incredibly solid. The Osmo Pocket 3 fits perfectly in the holder and doesn't jiggle around at all, it's a nice snug fit. The functionality is great and was easy to install on both the rigging and for the pocket camera. One thing that was really nice was that I needed to reverse the orientation of the mount screw. It came set up with the screw on the left side, but that didn't work for me because I was mounting on the top right side of my rig and wouldn't have been able to install it because I use a flash trigger in the hot shoe. I simply removed the screw, flipped the base around, and now it's on the right side of the mount. It seems very well built, has the versatility I need to be able to use it on just about any cold shoe mount I have. I like that the action mounts are retractable and that it has a couple options for connections (like 1/4 20) for tripods, selfie sticks, or other mounts for bikes or whatever. The build quality seems solid and barring any major bumps, I expect it'll hold up nicely. There's no problem using the buttons on the Pocket 3 while installed in this holder. Since I don't use the power button really, I only need access to the joystick to change the camera angle. Everything else I do on the screen of the Pocket 3, so this allows me all the access I need to the camera. There were two things to note for my use, and one really doesn't apply to the mounts, it could be just my specific rig: (1) - The base mount for the cold shoe had trouble fitting in to the rig cage. Now, they're both Neewer products, so I'm surprised about this. It turned out that it was more likely an issue with the rig cage cold shoe.... the spacing wasn't wide enough to accept the mount plate on this piece. This mount fit into the hot shoe on my camera (snugly), but wouldn't go in to the rig cage where I wanted it. I took a dremel and filed down the sides a bit and it went in, albeit a bit snuggly. Probably more of an issue with the cage rather than the mount itself. Not sure if it's the coating on the unit, or a measurement is off on the rig cage (or even this mount).... but filing it down a bit helped solve the issue. (2) - You have no access to the SD card when the Pocket 3 is in the mount. In order to change the card, you have take the pocket 3 out of the holder, which isn't hard, I guess it's just a minor annoyance if you need to swap it out quickly like when shooting a wedding or any other faced paced event. This isn't really a flaw in the design, just my observation that it might have been nice to have a hole in the mount where you might be able to swap out the card without taking the camera out. Then again, I have enough trouble getting those little buggers into the camera anyway due to fat fingers, it would probably be impossible to seat an SD card through the mount. Other than that, the mount seems sturdy and only time will tell if it's able to hold up to my type of usage. I will update the review if I note any other issues or to update on how it's holding up.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The Pocket 3 is a versatile camera, but suffers from a few shortcomings. This adapter addresses some of them. Other than a single 1/4-20 mount at the bottom, you've got no good way to attach accessories. Now, I can add a light, a microphone receiver, magnet mount or GoPro mounts, thanks to the folding 'wings' on the front and back. The fit around the OP3 is tight enough to inspire confidence. There is no wiggle once it's clamped in. Attaching/removing the adapter takes only a few seconds, and it's small enough to leave on the camera at all times, albeit you won't be able to seat the OP3 into his original holding case. In short, it's well designed and engineered, with the only issue for me being that it makes the joystick a bit more difficult to operate.

Works great if you need to need to mount your pocket 3. Easy to use the joystick and record button. Pairs well with 3rd party cases that cover up to the screen. You will need to remove it if you are using the DJI cover. Has a premium feel and nice weight.

Cage works great for attaching accessories. It is durable and easy to remove when necessary. The controls are still accessible when the cage is attached.

Nice solid all metal construction. One minor gripe is that sometimes when placing the Pocket 3 in the cage it'll accidentally trip the record button. But, that's fine.
