I don't normally write alot of reviews. I'm Always torn with Amazon products not knowing if they are going to be junk or not. This has to be one of the most surprised products I have ever gotten. I'm a ametuer GoPro user so I'm limited in the GoPro world and accessories. I needed a Magnetic base to film time lapse video for construction. The entire body is aluminum, they have rubber strips on the adjustable ball sockets to hold the position better. (I would guess being on aluminum you may not want to position much while it's tight, to save damage to the rubber, since it's pressing into the aluminum body) Magnets are really strong and can't wait to use them for car videos in the future. This was money well spent.

The magnets are strong with a rubber covering so as to not scratch the surface they are mounted on. They hold tight without being so strong it is impossible to get off. I think you would need stay under there limit so the magnets don't slip but other than that they seem to hold Strong. The camp is awesome, I can really ratchet it down and make sure it stays in place, just wish the other camps I have were made like this one.

This magnetic action camera mount is strong enough to mount a GoPro or similar-sized cameras to vehicles and stand still even at relatively high speeds. I wouldn't try and mount it to any flying vehicle though. Also, even when mounted to a car, truck, or boat, I would still use a safety chain/cable, just in case. The construction is very solid and basically all metal and some rubbery parts in order not to slip over the fixing surfaces. It comes with a metallic GoPro mount and also a small plate with a standard 1/4 screw that you can use to fix other types of equipment such as microphones, light fixtures, and other cameras. Its use goes far beyond moving vehicles and it can be used to fix a great variety of tools to hard spots or in situations where a traditional light stand is not viable or convenient. This is definitely a great addition to any GoPro Kit and a must-have for any grip and camera department as well.

This magnetic mount is very strong and made very well. I have no worries about it coming loose. The ball adjustments work very well like a magic arm. It is designed for an action camera with a maximum weight of 4.4lbs. You can reconfigure it from 2 magnets to 1 magnet if needed.

This magnetic mount is a great addition to my camera bag! First off, it feels extremely well made and doesn't feel cheap. It is mostly made from metal and has a little weight to it. The magnets on the bottom are quite strong and are rated for up to 4LBs. I have mainly used this to mount my overhead camera to my metal shelf and it works perfectly for that. It held it with no issues and I had no fear of it falling or letting go. All things considered, this is a very versatile mount and I think it's a great accessory to have in my camera bag!

I have never been a big fan of suction cup camera mounts. I just don't trust them. They are fine for static environments if you have the proper surface to mount them on. My go-to mount was a c-clamp is great, when I have the right-sized clamp and a surface to mount it to. The Neewer magnetic clamp is great for a variety of mounting positions... as long the surface is steel (or iron) Notes- - The mount is very effective as long as it steel or iron. -The magnets are under a padded surface to help prevent scratches Quick release mounts for attaching cameras quickly. These mounts are strong and rigid - there is nothing worse than mounts that are poor fitting and allow for wobble. - The Neewer arm can be positioned in a variety of angles to help get the right shot - The magnets are very strong. I have not been brave enough to put it on a moving car, but I believe it would hold up. Final Verdict - A nice strong, and flexible, mounting option for action and other small cameras.

This Neewer mount is solid as can be, the 2 magnet design is actually stronger than a few of my other 3 magnet bases. The Magic Arm has a very positive lock and I have had no issues with it moving at all with any of my cameras from a GoPro to a DSLR attached to the hood or side panels of my truck. All and all it is a great rig that is secure and I have been down a few very bad roads and trails. Neewer does it again.

Very impressed with the quality in this mount. Make sure your car is not aluminum if you plan on using it on your car before you buy this. Personally, I would not use it on a car, as I think regular suction cups are stronger and more secure. But this is very useful in many applications where you have a steel mounting location. In many of those locations, a suction cup will not work, and this can be moved quickly. It comes with two mounts you can use with the articulating arm. On for GoPro type mounts, the other will allow you to mount any small camera that has a 1/4"/20 threaded mounting hole. Very versatile and both are via a quick-release system. This is very well thought out as so many of these are designed only for GoPro Mounts and many of us have other cameras we would like to use on our mounts. If you have a need for a magnetic mount for action cameras this is a great choice.
