Five star for: - Filming - with proper frame it’s a bright screen. Does not get too hot. Has a fan for heat dissipation. - Comes with Two Batteries: You will need the 2 batteries. Unless you’re in a studio and then you need to purchase a power cord (Not included) - Has all the cables necessary. Even mini HDMI. Looked like trash until I turned down the Sharpness setting, highly recommend turning this down (it was especially bad at 23.98 for some reason). Also had to turn up saturation a bit for it to match my camera screen more closely, just fyi. Monitor is lightweight, super bright, fairly good on battery. I just like it. The cold shoe mount it came with works pretty well too! And 7 inches seems to be all the monitor I will ever need lol. Using on a BMPCC6k.

All my Sony cameras have flip out screens, but this larger touchscreen is really great for filming 9:16 videos for social media and being able to remotely monitor what the camera sees. I haven't even begun to use all the features, but even just enabling the overlay to spot and avoid overexposure and using the grid pattern has helped take my videos to the next level. It's plug-and-play, easy to mount using any hot or cold shoe, it has excellent color accuracy & picture quality. The value for the money is debatable because you can get a full-size 24" or even 27" monitor for the price, but it would be unwieldy, couldn't be powered by battery, and wouldn't feature the same histogram functions. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this field monitor. I bought two and use them with a couple of Sony FX30s.

The 7” Neewer Camera field monitor is a great product. It works well for video with my Panasonic Lumix G85. The interface is good, and it displays all the graphs, grids, lines and focus aids. The dual batteries have ample power to run it for hours. Even in bright sunlight the image on the monitor doesn’t get washed out. My only complaint is the quality of the Micro HDMI cord. After a few days of use, the cord broke. The monitor is a good price and works excellent. I would still buy it even if I knew the cord was poor quality. I would recommend getting an appropriate high quality cord that fits your camera when purchasing this monitor and not relying on the cords it comes with. To be fair the Lumix would work better with a 90 degree micro HDMI due to how its output is set up. Other cameras may not be as hard on the cables the monitor came with.

Edited 4/15/25 it is touchscreen! You have to tap the screen 2x to enable it each time. Buy it! This is not touch screen, it came with everything I needed (HDMI to HDMI) and various cables to charge to external battery. It's lightweight, bright enough, feels sturdy and was essentially plug and play with my BMPCC 4K. It was super responsive to all my functions which made it not being touchscreen okay. I haven't tried it with my BMPCC 6K Pro but I'm sure it will be fine.

Wow! A bit pricy compare to other solutions but definitely an amazing product, very bright and can be used for vertical video too. The 2 battery last for hours and you can use only 1 while the other one is charging.

Nothing bad to say about this monitor at all. The colors needed a slight adjustment out of the box, but the NITS is insane in full sunlight. Absolutely no need for a sun shade and with a power cord on a V-Mount this thing made it through 2 events with zero issues.

This might be a great monitor but I'll never know because I discovered after a frustrating 15 minutes, that it, and ALL external monitors, have issues with Canon RF cameras. The viewfinder and screen go dark so you lose touchscreen feature. Better with video with a menu setting in the camera, but still some issues. Issues well known to Canon but no firmware updates planned! I'm was really looking forward to using this. Now being returned. UPDATE Decided to try it before returning. And the issues are there. And I discovered in the process how terrible the included cables are. Broke within 15 minutes after a slight bump! I purchased a heavy duty cable on line which made a HUGE difference! Better fit into the HDMI ports and no intermittent lost signals. So despite the loss of the camera touchscreen. I find the ability to review the pictures on a bright 7" screen up to 4x very helpful, especially to confirm sharp focus. So I will keep and accept the inconvenience of no touchscreen. Understand that this might not be acceptable for everyone. UPDATE 9/5 Neewer reached out offering a full refund, which I had not requested! Wow! I had already decided to keep it, so I declined. But 5 star customer service!!!
