    • You get what you pay for
I viewed pictures of many similar looking and similarly priced chairs trying to discern the differences. This chair seemed to have a few details that appeared superior to others, so we purchased it with the intent to use it infrequently. When we received the chair, the quality was not as good as anticipated, but it was probably appropriate to the price we paid. Had the chair not arrived damaged, we would probably have kept it. To my eye the box only showed signs of normally handling. So, the damage observed, I think, was the result of inadequate packing. The carry bag arrived with a hole, the result of a sharp part of the chair rubbing against it during transit. The seat covering was deformed and the seat foam damaged from a part of the chair pushing into it during transit. And, the plastic handle on the cam lock that holds the face cradle in place was cracked. ... show more
