I purchased the Nectar Classic 12” Full Mattress (New Version) hoping for a balanced combination of medium-firm support, contouring memory foam, and the cooling top layer it advertises. I was impressed by the promise of minimal motion transfer, which indeed worked well for undisturbed sleep. The 365-night trial and forever warranty also gave me confidence in the product, as it shows the brand stands behind its quality. However, my experience with this mattress was not entirely positive. One major issue is the lack of edge support. The edges are overly spongy, and whenever I sit on the side, the mattress sinks significantly, making it unstable. I felt like I might slide off if I was not careful, which is frustrating, especially when using the edge to sit or get out of bed. This design flaw makes it less practical for daily use beyond sleeping. While the mattress performs well in providing a comfortable and cool sleeping surface, the weak edge support is a real drawback for me. If you plan to use your mattress only for sleeping, it might still be a good choice. However, if you often sit or rest on the edges, I would suggest looking for a mattress with firmer and more reliable edge support. This feature is crucial for usability, and unfortunately, the Nectar Classic falls short in that regard. ... show more

This mattress is perfect! a little heavy to handle it alone, but the fact that it comes in a box is very helpful. It does feel amazing and I have had only great nights of sleep on this. It is a great mattress and I look forward to my bed every night now after I got this.

I like this new version of mattress by Nectar. I like the 12 inch thickness with the medium firm design. It is a nice balance of not being overly firm because the top layer has the contouring memory foam. I like this brand of mattresses because they always deliver a good nights sleep.     • Well Made, High Quality
While I didn’t feel quite the same as others about the comfort I did find the mattress very well made and of high quality. I feel inclined to share a story that will likely help others decide if this is right for them. I’m 5’8” weighted 230 lbs a year ago, I had a (S&F mattress - you know who I’m talking about - very big company) mattress that was firm, it was horrible - like laying in a pillow top brick. I added a 3 and 6” memory foam topper, a little better but not much - enter nectar. Now instead of nearly 20” of mattress I have 12 inches, I have to be honest folks - not much difference and here is the kicker - I’ve lost 65 lbs have a medium firm and I still feel like I’m on the pillow top brick. I don’t see the draw to the nectar. I know this is all personal preference but had I not received this free of charge it would be going back due to the comfort level. I certainly hope you can appreciate my honesty and non-biased opinion for receiving a free product but I simply don’t find it comfortable. Quality is great. But not comfortable for me in my situation. ... show more
