Overall this is a good product to help with the upper shoulders area that meets the neck. The 2nd speed mode doesn't seem to change from the 1st, but the 3rd speed is faster. The heat mode seems quite weak, but is less important than the massaging mechanism itself. The massager does help with knots and muscle tension and I will still recommend this despite the weak heater. Advice: use this right after a warm/hot shower as I find it helps to get blood flow preempted before the massager--but certainly use at your own risk (talk to your doctor or LMT of course). ... show more

This gadget surprised me, it massages HARD by squeezing your feet down into the knuckle machine using air bladders. It has 3 program settings and 3 intensity settings, it's not exactly gentle on the low settings but I like it that way. I expected worse tbh. Bluetooth to the app was a little tricky but eventually got it, it just mirrors the top buttons so not necessary. The heat is mild, not enough to make them toasty in winter, but enough to notice. Wow! This thing ROCKS! It's like getting a deep massage at home. You can reposition it to target precisely where you have those awful muscle knots, and it works like a charm to relieve tightness and tension. The heat is a gentle heat that deepens the massage. I love it!!

This will give you a DEEP tissue massage, so don’t buy if you like light massages. I love a deep massage so it was the perfect buy. Battery lasts for about 5 massage sessions. It is well made and can’t beat it for the price.

I have fibromyalgia and carry all my stress in my shoulders. My partner is always having to give me shoulder rubs and I thought this would relieve him of some of that responsibility! However I didn't find it beneficial... I think it may have actually been too aggressive. I didn't get much relief from it and the next day my shoulder pain was even worse. Like I said I have fibromyalgia, so I am sensitive to aggressive treatments. I should have returned this, but wanted it to work so much I kept hold of it... but never used it again. However I can see how this might work for others. ... show more
