  • Great portable breast pump for a fraction of the cost
Honestly loved trying this breast pump out and think I’ll be switching to using this as my main pump system. I personally hate pumping and find a lot of breastpumps cumbersome and annoying to use. While I tried this NCVI pump, it felt very intuitive and the parts and design just made sense. Here are some points I took note of while testing this product. Pros: the portability is a huge plus because even though my other very popular pump is well known and efficient I feel tethered down. This lightweight pump hangs on a lanyard and can be carried around as you go about doing some errands in the house while pumping. I like how the parts are easy to assemble and there is a cover on top of the pouring hole to minimize accidental spills. The flange is a silicone material that makes it nice and soft unlike some of the rigid plastic pump flanges you see on the market. The pump itself is a touch screen system which made me hesitant but it worked well and was responsive. Lastly. I liked that the pump parts were easy to clean and didnt have excessive nooks and crannies to clean. Cons: I feel like the touchscreen can be a problem out in bright lighting because of its reflective surface. Though I imagine I will rarely ever find myself pumping out in the bright sunshine, someone else may want to do so. Also, the lack of tactile buttons makes me a little worried about whether i really pressed the proper keys and if it registered my pressing. Time will tell how well the touchscreen holds up. Overall, this pump system reminded me a lot of another very popular and well known brand with a similar concept but at a fraction of the cost! I think its a good buy and will definitely be using it more frequently than the other pump systems I have . ... show more

  • Lightweight and strong suction
I picked up this NCVI wearable breastfeeding pump because I needed something more flexible than being tied to a wall outlet, and in my experience it has made pumping much easier to fit into my daily routine. The lightweight design was one of the first things I noticed because it sits comfortably in my bra without feeling bulky or pulling everything down. I have used it while working at my desk, doing light chores around the house, and even during long car rides as a passenger, and it has been much more convenient than my traditional pump setup. The suction feels surprisingly strong for a wearable model, and I like that the four modes and nine intensity levels let me fine tune sessions depending on comfort and how quickly I want to pump. The included flange sizes were helpful because I was able to get a better fit right away without ordering extra parts, and once everything was positioned correctly I found the milk cups stayed sealed well without leaking. What stood out to me most is how easy it has been to clean and reuse throughout the day. The parts come apart quickly and I can wash everything without feeling like I need to study a complicated manual first. The battery life has also been reliable for me and usually lasts through multiple sessions before needing to be recharged, which is helpful when I am away from home. I also appreciate that it runs quietly enough that I can pump during virtual meetings or while my baby naps nearby without drawing attention. After several weeks of regular use, it has been consistent, comfortable, and a huge time saver that gives me much more freedom while still delivering solid output. ... show more

  • Feels affordable
The best part about NCVI is their affordability, not everyone can shell out $200-$500 for a wearable pump or set. If you have been browsing their wares(ha!) the number one thing to consider is: are replacement parts accessible and an option. Yes, NCVI sells the diaphrams, duckbills, flange inserts, and even the silicone shields that face your body. I need 15mm inserts so I have my own set of silicone inserts I’d already purchased for my previous pump that luckily works with this lanyard pump too. My heavy duty workhorse is a Spectra S1. It is not fun to tote anywhere. I barely like bringing it into the bedroom from the living room. All the parts and pieces are a pain. This wearable was worth consideration because I was fine with inexpensive as long as I had modes for letdown, some type of massage, and cyclical pumping. The battery life is okay. I can get 3 sessions from this set before it needs to be charged. I highly suggest anyone considering wearables to seek out a preset pump schedule.. I kind of prefer a closed system as my number one priority. That was hard to determine if I might have backup issues or be able to pass this on if it didn’t work for me. I’d also really like raised dots or something tactical on the pump itself so I can feel the mode I selected is! It’s an interesting design and very portable. I just have tweaks I’d love for NCVI to consider. ... show more

  • Breast pump
This is a nice pump. Good to remember it’s not hospital grade so the suction levels aren’t quite as strong as some other pumps but the portability is a game changer. The pump settings are easy to use and change. The pump motor is heavier than I was expecting but small enough to fit in a pocket and carry around. The cups are also pretty large compared to some other hands free pumps so they look unnatural if you were to wear in public and you need extra space in your bra to hold them in place The different suction settings are nice and the instruction manual provides instructions for how to use each setting. The flange inserts provide options for comfort and appropriate fit, however, they are not labeled with the sizes that I saw making it hard to tell which ones are the correct flanges. The pump is relatively easy to assemble and disassemble and wash plus there is no leaking with use. However, you do have to be careful not to tip the cups while using or you could end up with milk back flowing into the tubing. Parts for this pump are a bit harder to find since it’s not one of the main name brand pumps Great option for an exclusive pumper that is always on the go but if you need stronger suction this may not work for you. As an added bonus, it comes with some nursing pads for leakage ... show more
