The media could not be loaded. I wondered why there was only 1 comment and it read "GREAT SERVICE UNTIL SOMETHING GOES WRONG". I own 4 eBikes and I am confidently writing this review to create awareness. My kits are from Risunmotors and have never had issues. This is the first time I am purchasing from NBPower, I would not bother spending a dim with NBPower. Read on.... ADVANTAGES 1. Pre-Sales service - 110%. The contact person is Anne and she is best contacted via WhatsApp. I am from Fiji Islands and the time difference was rather a constraint but she responded to all my messages, answered all my questions and customised my order with ease. She kept me posted up to the despatch of my order. 2. I customised my order to have a matching tire, extra tube and express shipping (read my comments on the express shipping option). 3. Apart from the display, the items were in good condition, externally, until installation. Packaging was excellent. 4. Excellent Torque! Total weight 150kg’s. Take care with that throttle, it will throw you off! 5. The brakes are good quality. 6. Tire, tube and rim is good quality. DISADVANTAGES Take note, the after sales support is PATHETIC! There are details of the product that are incorrect and misleading/false. 1. The display was a second-hand unit. It had scratches and when I reached out to Anne, she ignored the question. I still don't have a response. The display did not have the standard protective plastic as do new units and the scratches are evident of a second unit. One of the axel cap had a hole evident of it being a second unit thrown into the package. 2. The torque arm is low quality. The bike is high torque and after less than 500km mileage I noticed the torque arm has wrapped itself on the wheel axel. I was unable to remove it so had to grind it out completely. The axel is slightly wider in diameter, so beware of buying a standard torque as you will have to file it down a few millimeters before you it can fit. The metal ring thread is also flimsy but enough to support the torque and protect the rear fork from damage. 3. The Controller is rated at 100A. However, the display setting only allows you to set it up to 50A. I contacted Anne for assistance and all I received was “we tested it in the factory”, no shit. I sent a video, its China National Day holiday until the 8th of October so there will be an update to this review. 4. The Controller comes with the standard Bluetooth option. NBPower does not supply the USB cable so best ask for it when buying. The Bluetooth option does not work at all! You cannot reprogram the unit to work correctly. The APP will only allow you to view the factory settings but you cannot change it. I have asked for the USB alternative and still waiting. 5. NBPower advertised in the product description “4. Full Speed: 100km/hour at 72V”. This is false. I use an 84V 15Ah battery pack, and it only goes up to 72KM/Hr, no load. On load, the top speed is 60KM/Hr, my bike is about 50kgs and I am 100kgs, the advertisement rates the Torque up to 160kgs in weight. Be careful with this product. 6. The Controller cannot handle any voltage above 94V and is hard coded in the controller. I have battery pack of 2 x 54V and the Controller read “Overvolt Error”. I reached out to Anne, but hey, its China National Day. Stay Tuned! 7. With a total spend of over US$1,000.00, one would expect that NBPower to throw in a controller bag, it’s a DIY Kit for Pits sake! NO CONTROLLER BAG. The Controller massive so unless your bike has a sizable frame, aske for one. I had a Pannier bag so I modified it and fortunately it was a snug fit. 8. Don’t bother purchasing the Express Shipping. It does not make a difference. I wasted US99.00. 9. There is NO MANUAL! You’d think a spend of so much would have a decent manual, NOPE! There two pieces of paper enclosed, both for the Controller wiring. However, the diagrams did not match the Controller i.e. different Controller to the paper diagram. The Controller has 2 Hall Sensors, both male with 5 Pins vs the paper diagram showing 6 pins, one sensor with male and the other was completely different connector (not male or female). So I had to do a trial and error connection, one worked the other did not. 10. There is no instruction to confirm that NBPower have already done a Hall Test at the factory and so you don’t have to do a Hall Test.     • Hall sensor failure after about a week of riding

This kit was very fun for about a week then it decided to give me a 07H error code and said that there was a hall sensor error. Was using this as my primary form of transportation and went out on a limb to use this to do DoorDash, but it’s been nothing but problems with the ebike. Will update review if seller helps me out in getting this fixed. Update: the seller contacted me and had a part replaced fairly quickly, hopefully it stays up like it is for a while. ... show more

Currently 340 miles on it and it's my daily transportation to work. It's a 9 mile ride and I can arrive way sooner than driving my car in traffic. I have a Pedal Electric AWD bike and when they ignored me for customer service I decided to upgrade to something better. Definitely worth it as far as power goes. I paired it with the NBpower 72v 40ah battery and it's been a blast. It definitely isn't child safe though. The amount of torque is no joke. If you accidentally blip the throttle and you aren't holding on it will take off from under you. Luckily most settings can be adjusted with the Bluetooth dongle and can also set speed limits. Setting adjustment isn't very beginner friendly so I suggest some youtube videos on adjusting with the MQCON app. Also it needs some serious custom torque arms to hold it on an aluminum frame. The supplied torque arm made it one day and started to bend. Overall I'm happy with my purchase. Customer service with NBpower is great. Besides the language barrier, Anne is really great and super helpful with any questions. Update Oct. 9 2022: 4700 miles in. No issues and saving a lot on gas. ... show more

NOT for the timid or faint of heart! This kit is the REAL DEAL! Say your prayers, have all of your affairs in order, then hold on to your hat when you turn the throttle! I just finished building a 3000w kit I got from this same company & have topped it out at 65.5 MPH. I haven’t clocked this one yet, nor have I pushed her to her upper limits yet either. I’ve just begun breaking her in, so it’s gonna be a minute or two before I’m fully aware of top speed….IF I have big enough balls to take her all the way! I’ve had her to level 3….about half throttle, and I’ve had to keep my eyes on the road & not look at the speedometer. She is a wild ride though & I’m sure she is gonna be my favorite….if she doesn’t kill me! Customer service with this bike has been the same as with my first bike- TOP SHELF!!! I will continue to do business with them, as I believe they are honest & offer high quality equipment at reasonable prices! after NBpower try to steal $897 from me on a ebike kit and did not shipping out product to me and refusing to refund me back my money I was able to go to my bank and get the merchant to give me back my money. do not trust the Amazon A-to-Z warranty anything over $500 they will not warranty. I’m sharing this with you all so if you find yourself in this situation immediately put the claimant through your bank do not trust NBpower to refund you once he receives his money. He no longer cares to talk to you and does not accept accountability for their action or mistakes ... show more
