There are lots of different options for vest ventilators. This one is inexpensive and performs well. Fit is easy, cleaning it is easy, and I leave work with a dry undershirt most of the time. Just hang it up in a hot shower once a week and it is clean. If it is hot, you will still sweat, but you dry
off and stay dry easier.

Helps you breath but get a shirt that does too.
It's awesome to get some airflow beneath my vest and not feel like I'm shrink-wrapped. The product does it's job, it does it well, and I wear it every shift under my vest. The product did run a little large so I had to exchange for a size down. The original version didn't allow you to adjust the dist
ance from back to front (the straps that go over your shoulders) so it didn't always sit as I'd have liked. The second one I bought (so I could have a spare and launder it more-frequently), did have adjustable shoulder straps which made fit much nicer—the material also felt better but that could just be because it was new. It does shift around a bit so I will have to adjust it every so often, mildly irritating. I wish they made one I could just hook (like Velcro) into the vest so I only had to put on one thing instead of two. Overall, I recommend this to anyone who wears a vest and I have.

The product works AMAZINGLY well!!!!
I was looking for a solution because my Kevlar vest was beyond steaming hot and not breathable. I was changing my white undershirt three times a day when it was over 80 degrees outside. I found the MILITAUR vest on AMAZON and decided to give it a try. I have to be honest and say it is AMAZING! The de
sign is brilliant and it allows airflow between my vest and my body. On my first day of wearing it the temp was 91 degrees. I got thru my entire shift without changing my tee shirt once! I raved about it to my coworkers and sent them the AMAZON link for the vest. I would say about 75% of them ordered the vest and are looking forward to the relief! Good quality! Order a size up.
I would recommend ordering a size up from your body armor size. That way, the mesh can properly extend beyond the edges of your armor and allow air to flow in. I got mine in the same size as my armor and there are several places where they either meet flush, or the armor slightly extends beyond the m
esh which blocks airflow. The quality itself is great and it's so easy to put on and take off. Immediately stopped me from experiencing heat rash by providing a gap between my armor and my undershirt. I still sweat quite a bit. Quality of life component to duty vest life.

As sweaty as it can get with a vest, I decided to inVEST in this product before my duty vest arrived when I made the transition from the ole Sam Browne. My first time using it, I work it directly under the vest, outside of my uniform shirt. That was two layers of clothing that were against my upper b
ody to trap sweat. The second day I decided to wear it on top of my undershirt, underneath my uniform shirt. There was a drastic difference. This vent vest keeps the uniform shirt and duty vest away from the majority of the upper body, with only the undershirt contending with sweat. But with the ventilation, it keeps cooler and promotes quicker drying. Great product, well-made, and worth the investment to add quality of life to your duty attire.

Makes the armor MUCH more bearable.
This product does pretty much what you'd expect. It takes a good amount of the strain off your shoulders, and lets your armor breathe easier while shifting less. I love it!

Will this product keep you from sweating, no. Will it make a big difference in the amount you sweat, yes. Until I bought this product I was having to wash my uniform shirt daily after switching to an external carrier. Now I can go 2-4 days without HAVING to swap shirts. The biggest change is that my
shirt and carrier aren’t soaked when I remove my carrier. My one complaint is the shoulder pads. They never seemed to fit right, bunched up, and poked out the sides of the shoulders. I swapped them out with the smaller straps from an old concealable vest, and they work perfectly.

Minor hiccup but awesome customer service

Just get it! You need it!
Great! It makes a big difference. My undershirt wasn't soaking wet when I took off my body armor. It provides a thin layer of separation that allows periodic airflow under the vest depending on what task you're performing. That breeze of air under the vest is like a mini vacation.
