I have had this scooter for weeks, and I really like it so far. I have ridden it 6 times, about 10 miles total, and it still has plenty of battery life left currently. (~47% battery life). This is a very good, high quality scooter, and it can really move. The description is accurate, it can go up to 31 mph. I drove it down streets with limits up to 30 mph, in bike lanes, and up a couple of small hills without any problems. I also rode it at night, and I like the bright headlight and taillight. I like the blinkers, and I have used them frequently, and I like that there’s a light on the side of it for safety. I always wear a helmet and padding on my elbows and knees while riding the scooter just in case. The scooter is very heavy and difficult for me to bring it up the steps inside, but I can do it, and with help, I got it into a vehicle. It’s not as heavy as some other scooters though. The value of this scooter so far is excellent, I did a lot of research on different types of electric scooters and ultimately decided on this one because it’s new, and it had good reviews (I looked up the reviews on other websites besides Amazon). You can also download the app and use it lock it, and it will not move when it’s locked. If you try to move it when it’s locked, it will make a loud beeping noise. Unfortunately, I found that if you put a bag with a lock on it, it tends to be a little unstable when riding. I also didn’t like how the headlight turns off after stopping for a few seconds, but it’s easy to turn back on. This scooter is also very tall, it’s about 5ft tall, and I have yet to find a way to adjust the height, but it’s fine for me, because I’m tall for a woman. ... show more

Received the scooter earlier than expected!! Was supposed to receive between March 9th and 11th and received it on March 8. Pretty fast shipping, props to Navee and Amazon! As far as the scooter goes, the scooter is pretty sick looking and the build quality is pretty sturdy! Unlike alot of other brands where the build quality seems quite sketchy, but its a Navee and as expected the quality is great!!! Charging is fast on the scooter.     • The sweet spot high end scooter for enthusiasts
Size: UT5 Max - 62.1 Miles
I am seriously impressed with the features and quality of the UT5 Max as a whole. It really feels premium and top tier with everything you get with it. I'll go into more details below, but the short review is that everything just works and it really feels like a quality engineered product. Speed and driving characteristics: This is a highlight of the scooter for sure. It has tons of get up and go power, and get's to it's top speed of 31 mph effortlessly. The different speed modes give different top speeds, but it also gives a smoother throttle response the lower you go in the speed settings. Walk mode is about what it sounds like. Super slow and controlled, Eco is perfect for riding on sidewalks since the acceleration isn't harsh and you won't be going crazy fast. Sport with boost enabled makes the throttle feel almost like an on-off switch because it accelerates very quickly and gives instant throttle response. It's obviously not going to win any races against a car or even a small motorcycle, but it's more than enough to get around town and even keep up with traffic on lower speed roads. Stability and braking: This scooter has a lot of little features to make it a safe and stable riding experience. The steering stabilizer helps keep the wheels centered at high speed. This is a really important feature to have if you want to go quick on potentially bumpy roads. The brakes also do a great job of slowing down the scooter quickly. There are also other features like in the hill assist settings, you can set a top speed for going down hill and the scooter will keep you at that speed without having to be on the brakes. Practicality: This is a bit of a tough one to determine, since it depends on how you'd want to use it. If you're thinking about putting this in the back of a sedan or something small, it will be very difficult. The size of the scooter is one thing, but it's also very heavy and awkward to try to put in the trunk of a car. I would only do that with a decent sized SUV or a truck. This scooter is much more substantial than the average scooters zipping around a big city. If you treat this scooter as a small motorcycle, ebike, or moped replacement, this will actually do quite well. It has great lighting and turn signals and is about as quick as a modern 50cc or an older 100cc scooter, so it'll get you around town no problem. Also, the form factor really lets you get away with things that ebikes and gas scooters can't do. It's easy to fold and if you lift, can easily be carried indoors if you need to. Range and battery: This scooter has plenty of range and battery to be used for long periods of time. The range estimates that NAVEE gives are pretty accurate, just pay attention to the speed that they make those range tests at. Obviously sport mode with boost on will give the worst range, but I found that it doesn't feel like the range is limiting. Overall, this is a serious scooter. Five to ten years ago, that would have been a silly thing to say, but scooters have come very far since then. NAVEE is really trying to push the limits of this form factor and refine nearly everything. I would definitely say this scooter is mainly for enthusiasts. Not everyone would be happy with this the UT5 Max, and given the price, that would probably deter most casual shoppers anyway. If you are an enthusiast and you want a top of the line feeling scooter, the UT5 Max is a solid option that you won't regret. There is the higher end version of this as well with dual motors, but unless you're the type of person who wants the flagship just for the sake of it, it really doesn't feel like you're missing out on anything with this scooter, although I haven't personally tested the Ultra X. In my opinion, this is the sweet spot for high end scooters where there isn't too much tradeoff in practicality, but all the premium features are there. ... show more

I feel privileged to be able to ride and review a scooter of this caliber - way out of my normal league price wise. The Navee scooters definitely have a high level of fit and polish as compared to a lot of other brands. And their design engineering shows through, like the feeling of stability you get at all speeds. On the one hand the Navee app is good as it lets you customize a lot of settings. On the other hand it doesn't quite allow as much customization as one might like, especially for the fact that you need to be signed into the Navee system to use the app (and, to use your scooter). Would be nicer if just a straight Bluetooth connection without sign-in. Or menu based settings using the scooter's big display. I think that it would also be great if Navee provided an NFC based security/start up system, instead of the app based security features. Sometimes folks just like to have a little less on their phones. Ride is smooth and comfortable. Stable as mentioned above, and the suspension works great. I have to admit what I was not immediately wowed by the single 2400W (peak) motor, coming off a scooter with dual motors which makes only slightly more total peak wattage. Maybe just a single vs dual motor feeling kind of thing. Or due to the fact that my other scooter is more of a pure performance based model, without the well rounding of the UT5 (which can work great in commuter AND sport modes). I do wish there was a choice in the app to turn energy recovery 'off', instead of just low/med/high. I am assuming that the energy recovery level chosen has an impact on the EABS braking, and at low speeds (only) I am finding the brakes to be a little grabby even when set to the lowest energy recovery level. Might just be something I need to get used to in a bit more riding. But why not give the user the control to turn off the EABS if they don't like it? Disk brakes alone have great stopping power. I believe that this scooter is kind of framed as a commuter scooter with sporty capabilities, which it surely is. Definitely something which one could use all week for commuting in normal 'sport' mode, and then take out for weekend fun runs with Boost activated. Sometimes it is the seemingly little things which really contribute to making the whole package special. For example, I find with many scooters that the display dims when you turn the headlight on. While this is probably good for night riding, it you wish to use your headlight for extra visibility during day rides, you can no longer read the display very well. On the UT5 Max you can turn on the headlight during the day, and there is no dimming of the display. Also, the integration of the bell into the left brake lever is a feature I really like. I just keep coming back in my mind to how smooth and stable this scooter rides, and how polished the overall package is. ... show more
