NatureWise CLA 1250, Highest Potency Non-GMO Healthy Weight Management Supplement, 180 count I’m what you call “skinny fat”… aka “fake” skinny. For those of you not in the know, that’s someone who looks great in clothes but flabby underneath. I used to be able to wear inexpensive jeans from Express or The Gap. But now, I have succumbed to dropping $150-$200 for a pair of structurally engineered jeans that do all the tucking and lifting for you. I always cringe when people stop me and say how amazing I look especially for my age and after having 2 children. But I can never just say “thank you” because I know what lurks underneath. Eek. I am a workout-holic; always have and always will be. I do weights, run, box, and yoga 5 days a week. I eat very healthy (fish, chicken, whole grains, legumes, fruits, and vegetables)… nothing processed. I am 5’7”, and have been a size 4-6 and 137-140 pounds for over 12 years after my youngest was born. But now at age 48 and pre-menopausal, my body is changing; hence the “skinny fat”. I am still the same size and weight, just flabby. Ugh. Enter NatureWise CLA 1250. I’ve been using this product for about a month now, 2-3 times a day and I definitely notice a change in my physique almost immediately. I am more toned in my legs, butt, and stomach. I can actually see the vertical lines in my abs! I can’t believe they are back after being MIA for a long, long, long time. Also, I noticed that I am less hungry. In fact, I find that I have to force myself to eat my last (3rd) snack of the day. Depending on when I weigh myself, I am between 130-135 pounds. My wife and I have been taking CLA along with Garcinia Cambogia, Green Coffee Bean Extract, and wonderful Krill Oil from NatureWise, which is a terrific company with excellent customer service. Their products are beautifully packaged. They adhere to the highest and strictest standards in this fairly unregulated industry. This is completely the opposite of many fly-by-night operations on the Internet which will lure you in with offers of free bottles and then keep charging your credit card. And then the pills you get may merely be placebos. I have lost 12 pounds over the past two months after not having been able to lose any weight for the past 12 years, and my wife's figure has noticeably improved. My clothes fit much better. The CLA pills are big but because they are soft gelatin and oval, I have never had a hard time swallowing them. If you look up articles on CLA, you can find it has been proven to burn body fat rather than dietary fat, especially while you sleep. I have read that CLA can provide muscle growth and weight loss (when combined with exercise), disease prevention and increased energy. Typically, as one loses weight they would also experience a decrease in muscle mass, but CLA aids in preserving muscle mass while increasing the body's metabolism. This increased metabolism increases energy levels and the body's ability to burn calories. CLA may lower LDL cholesterol, and can enhance the immune system, increasing overall health. The supplement also contains antioxidants, helping to prevent diseases such as cancer. Cautionary notes are that CLA takes a number of weeks to start "kicking in." And it is not a miracle supplement although nothing is. One has to eat properly and exercise. But as I was telling Maggie, the kind and wise NatureWise customer service lady, these supplements make you want to eat healthier. When you are putting good stuff in your body, you do not want to eat artifically preserved foods, processed sugars, meat which has been injected with steroids, etc. And you start feeling better and you have more energy, and so it is much easier to exercise and then to recover better from workouts so you don't get burned out. Shipment arrived after work. I ate a healthy dinner of low carb salmon. I finished a short 30 minute work out, felt super fatigued, wanted to go to bed. Forgot I bought this product so I popped one pill for the first time. I ended up watching a video of someone make food on Facebook and was craving dessert. Pulled up my phone and was about to make an UberEATS order for delivery and had to use will power to stop myself. 30 min later, the CLA kicked in. I got an instant burst of energy and I stopped getting the craving for sweets feeling in my stomach like I was satisfied. My muscles from the workout didn’t feel so tired anymore so I got up and did some chores. It’s weird but this stuff works?? Update: I've taken this product for 2 weeks so far. I only took 1 pill per meal, 3x a day. I have not really lost much weight at this dosage. I weight 155, 5'5", female. I'm going to up my dosage to 2x a meal now. Even with 1 pill though, I definitely feel a boost in energy. I feel more motivated, less fatigued, and exercise seems so much easier now that I actually WANT to get up and do stuff instead of sitting on my ass watching Youtube! Update: I finished a whole bottle. I did not take this religiously but did up my dose to 3 pills a dose. I found out this product works very well to curb carb cravings and boost energy but after a month, it stopped helping me cut belly fat. I lost maybe 1 inch of my love handles and then my belly stopped shrinking. My hip to waist ratio is now 31/39 where as before it was 32/39. I want to cut my waist down to 29” but this supplement only worked for a bit then stopped. It is still worth a try because it will help to diet and exercise better! ... show more
