Who likes really long reviews? Not me! So down to the nitty gritty. This is exactly what you are probably looking for, for a good price. I got it during the Black Friday, Cyber Monday time in 2023, and paid $129 for it. It's worth every penny. Is it entirely smokeless? Nah, none of them are, that's impossible. Does it deliver what it promises? YES! Easy to assemble, took me like 15 minutes, I would suggest using a drill with a Phillips bit instead of a screwdriver and that will cut your assembly time in half, I bet. OK, so ONE tip I want to give you, is KEEP THE WOOD BELOW THE VENT HOLES in the top. If you do that, you will keep the smoke down to a very minimum, and the heat will build like crazy. The media could not be loaded. The screws for the heat diffuser did not seat fully, however this is an amazing firepit for the price and quality of workmanship. I'm using all wood with charcoal to start the fire and I'm impressed. Long lasting fire, smokes getting started but once the flames get going it dies down. I'll be adding a top screen for debris. Recommend use on concrete or covered overhang. Minimum 10ft so you don't melt your ceiling ... show more

This is an amazing product. We live in the same neighborhood and our houses are very close to each other. Our original fire pit was beautiful, but it proved too smoky - our neighbor had to open the kitchen vent to get rid of some of the smoke in the kitchen. Not wanting to be "those neighbors," we looked into smokeless or "less smoke" style fire pits. We initially thought propane would be our only option, but after seeing several people use BALI themselves, we decided to give BALI a try. This is a big fire pit. We were initially skeptical about the validity of the "smoke-free" claim, but can confirm that it definitely fits the use case. Using seasoned mesquite wood provides a strong, extra-hot burn that lasts for hours and produces minimal smoke. We and our neighbors couldn't be happier. ... show more

I used a fire pit I purchased from Home Depot for a year. Initially, it worked well, but later on, it became challenging to create a big fire due to insufficient airflow. I was considering buying a Solo, but due to budget constraints, I chose a different brand. This fire pit is excellent, made from extremely durable materials, and it has excellent ventilation.
