One bottle lasts me 6 months & it's reasonably priced. I take it at night, 60 minutes before I go to bed. It's a good size capsule. It might be a little too big for those who don't like taking meds.     • Misleading label but still works for me

I started taking these supplements to after I kept hearing how magnesium glycinate was a great natural sleep aid. And they absolutely work for me. Almost too well. I even started researching if I needed a lower dosage, and then I realized I was already on a low dosage. The 500 mg is misleading. Each pill only contains 90 mg of elemental magnesium. This also explains why this product is so cheap. So, if you need more, you'll have to take more pills daily. For me, it seems to be enough for my needs, because I sleep longer and deeper when I take it, and I only take one at night. I've been spotty with my regimen but have been taking it 5 nights straight and am generally sleeping more consistently. I'm going to keep it up and see if the effects persist. ... show more

I heard this was great for helping you sleep so I wanted to try it. The bottle says take one, it wasn’t helping. So with a little research I found out that to help with relaxation and sleep you need about 200 mg to 400 mg of elemental magnesium. This bottle only has 90 mg per capsule of that. So I started taking 2 capsules which brings me up to 180 mg and now it works like a charm. I’m getting 8 hrs most nights!! ... show more
