This vitamin does have a fish smell so for this reason some may need or wish to avoid. I have taken this product prenatal and postnatal for about 6 years now and I do believe it has helped supply me with the essential vitamins and nutrients I need to keep me and baby healthy. I did some research based on what my provider told me to look for in a prenatal and this this was where I landed for a affordable price point. I just hold my breath when I open the bottle until I swallow and drink some water then brush my teeth to deal with the fishy smell/taste. I did spice it up and buy a more fun gummy prenatal one time but didn’t seem to be worth the additional cost and I realized I preferred to just quickly swallow a pill than chew something sweet first thing in the morning.
