Removes the hassle of solar covers and more effective
Size: 32 fl oz (Pack of 4)
If I could give it 6 stars I would. We have a sunk in12x24 oval pool. After investing in multiple solar cover and the roller I was still having to vacuum a mess of debris and bugs in my pool besides dealing with storage and having to put the covers on and off. I tried the liquid pool cover and that has helped save on heating my pool in spring and fall as we live in the midwest. Using natural chemistry pool chemicals for maintenance and their liquid pool cover not only removed my white mold problems but have been game changers to making my weekly maintenance and daily pool use effortless. Also recommend the enhulk pool vacuum as that was my second best pool investment. ... show more

Understand what your buying
Size: 32 fl oz (Pack of 2)
Look. The product does what it says it does which is retain the heat in your pool. It does not raise the temperature. I wasn't sure what to expect so I got it to try it out as our pool heater is currently out of commission. I've used it for about 2 months and here's what I can say: When I use the product I notice that my pool maintains temperature much better. I seem to have a consistent temp of about 84 when I use it, morning, afternoon and evening. When I don't use the product I get up to 84 but usually I start the day about 80 and slowly work my way to 84 by about 6pm....then the temp slowly drops back to 80 overnight and repeat. So from my 2 month experience, it does retain the heat much better then if your not using it but don't expect miracles. It's not a heater and it's not going to generate heat...but it will retain heat better then using nothing. Again not a huge amount....about 3-4 degrees. But it's something. For some people that may br enough and for others it may not be. My only wish was that it was cheaper. 1 bottle will get you about 3 applications (we have a larger inground pool). If you apply it weekly like it says that's 3 weeks of usage. ... show more

Misleading information, it does clog up a cartridge filter.
Size: 32 fl oz (Pack of 1)
My daughter and family were coming down for Easter and even with the solar heat on my pool was a little too chilly so I bought the product, I put 2 ounces in the pool a week before they arrived, another 2 ounces the day they arrived which was a week after the initial dose and one more 2 ounce dose after they left a week after the previous dose. The product claims it will not clog your cartridge filter. It did raise the temperature a little bit in my pool by not letting the water evaporate or the heat escape overnight but it absolutely did clog up my filter, not a lot but the pressure went up three psi which literally never happens, I’m pumping 4800 gallons an hour and the psi has never risen above 10 so I took my cartridge filter out and soaked it in TSP and simple green for 24 hours and it cleaned the filter, I had purchased a new filter and installed that as soon as I removed the old filter to clean it. I might use it again in the fall to extend how long I can swim or maybe next spring to do the same but I will not use it with the new filter I will make sure I’m using the old filter if I use the product again. ... show more

Doesn't work and increases filter pressure
Size: 32 fl oz (Pack of 1)
This doesn't work well at all. I didn't expect it to be as good as a plastic cover, but this one really didn't do much. I lost 2 degrees with the plastic cover the night before I used this. The first night that I used this I lost 5 degrees. The second night I added more product thinking that maybe the initial dosing wasn't enough. Nope. I lost 1 degree before 11pm. I'm not sure how much I actually lost overnight since I left early in the morning before the pump turned on, but the end of day temperature for day 2 was well below what I was seeing with the other brand of liquid cover. I saw steam coming off of the water both mornings, something that I didn't see with the other brand. I also saw a rise in my filter pressure with this. My clean filter pressure is 10 psi. My filter was at 11 psi when I added this, and then it went up to 13 psi right away. It went up even more when I added the second dose. I have a Hayward cartridge filter. I won't be using the rest of this bottle and will need to figure out how to dispose of it safely. ... show more

It really works.
Size: 32 fl oz (Pack of 4)
My third year with this product and it works. My pool is in direct sun all day so mid season there is no use for it but the beginning and end it’s a must. Temperature holds much better with the cool nights and less evaporation. Very easy to use.
