A little hard to brush the back of my head near my scalp as I have very thick hair and I can't particularly tell if it makes a significant difference from a regular brush but it does make my hair pretty soft and the brush itself feels super high quality!!! Plus since it's so big it brushes through my entire head so fast. I also noticed it does make my hair look less greasy when I haven't washed it yet AND if my hair is tangled it never snags at it so it works pretty well for detangling. I can brush through my crazy hair easily.

As I'm growing my very fine, easy to damage hair out (nearly to my waist, yay!) I needed a new natural boar bristle brush to smooth the oils from my oilier roots down to my dry ends. My last, normal, flat one had been out of commission for a couple of weeks, and a regular brush and comb were causing teeny splits on my ends. I've had this brush for months, and after a 1/4 inch hair trim, I haven't had any splits since. So nice not to lose all that time and effort! And with the elongated bristles between the boar bristles, it does a fair job of detangling, too- something my old one couldn't do. When I saw the crazy little rake thingie that came with it, I nearly threw it away, until my construction guy hubby showed me his cleaner he uses for his $40 paintbrushes and encouraged me to try it. It dislodged ALL the long hairs from the boar bristles beautifully, and it doesn't pop the comfort nubs off the longer bristles the way cleaning with a comb would. Which is good, since the long bristles aren't plastic, so that wire would hurt if the nubs came off! Haven't lost a single one. Good brush. I'd buy it again if this one wears out

This brush has a great combination of long coarse bristles and fine natural bristles. The coarse bristles separate tangles and stimulate your scalp. The fine bristles distribute the natural oils on your hair to give it all a nice sheen.The natural bristles are a bit longer than in my other brushes that are similar. They have more contact with your hair so it is a bit more like an all bristle brush. Its a delight to use. The wooden handle is smooth to the touch and attractive. Priced just under $10 its a real bargain. I've had other brushes quite similar to this. They last for years. I expect this one will also.

This is a fantastic brush! I have 1A hair and was a little nervous about the boar bristles making my hair staticky. It did not at all. I was using the Unbrush before, but heard great reviews of this particular one. I am so glad I purchased it. The bristles feel good on my scalp, the wooden handle is sturdy, and it’s easy to clean the hair out. The package came with a little picking tool to clean the hair from the bristles, and 4 hair ties. I’d definitely repurchase this brush!

I have fine hair but a lot of it so I was hesitant about boar bristle brushes. Some I've tried just didn't go all the way through my hair; just sat on top. Because this one has the plastic bristles (like a wet brush) embedded in the boar bristles, it actually flows through the hair. I get the benefits of both in one brush. I still use a wet brush on my wet hair but once my hair is dry, I get the lovely benefits of a boar bristle brush and a lovely sheen to my hair.
