I've had several tripods over the years, but they all had a slight wobble to them and I figured that was the norm. I mostly do product photography so that was fine for the time being since I change my settings on my computer and don't have to touch the camera at all. Recently I started doing more photography outside and my images weren't as crisp, and I associated that with the slight wobble of the camera when actually taking the picture. So I got this tripod based on name alone hoping it would be a good one and I am amazed. It is easily the best tripod I have ever used. I was in the market for a travel tripod but didn't wanna spend too much. This one is perfect for my needs instead of the 1000g listed it weights around 1500g. Built quality is great and it is pretty sturdy.

This tripod is solid, come with some spare parts and could be use to modify the tripod in some ways, center column is reversible (helpful for some situations). The goods end there. I find it heavier than the description, at 3.39lb. The turning lock is kind of a hassle, especially there are 4 locks for 5 leg sections, kind of hurt my hand using it for a bit. This tripod should be good for most people, but not for me, the reasons being too heavy, take too long to setup, and doesn’t suit my type of photography. ... show more

Quite stable for a lightweight tripod. I use it to support my Holga pinhle cameras, for which it is outstandingly stable, but this easily carried tripod could securely hold up to a 6 x 6 well. The quick-release plate is NOT a common size, and extra plates are Impossible to find. All three of the "common" quick release plates we have tried do NOT fit this tripod, and this is a Major Bummer. This tripod is very well priced, and would be good for a teen starting photography. The listing does not mention small, but the box does state it is "tripod small." It might have been offered as a freebie for subscribing? Very stable for the size. Two of the base plate screws were missing. The bolt holding the shoe plate sticks up, preventing the shoe from sliding on or off. Surprisingly heavy for the size. Comes with a basic stuff sack. The directions are photo only, OK but not great for a novice. An option for removing the center post is suggested, but no info on how to do this, not obvious. So, affordable and good for youth, a viable beginner level tripod. A Slik 150 would be a much better, more versatile, lighter option. ... show more

There's so much to like about this and I wanted to give it 5 stars. The tripod is sturdy and easy to adjust. The ball head makes changing the camera angle quick and easy. I also love that you can use it as a monopod. But therein lies the problem. The directions aren't clear and it took some time with both me and my husband working on it to figure out how to get the monopod. When we figured it out, it was too short to be useful. I used a tip from another reviewer to make it taller, which worked great, but I have not been able to get it all back together the way it should be. The tripod is usable, but the hook for hanging things is not where it should be and the picture directions aren't useful. With clearer directions, this product would be a 5. ... show more
