Bike arrived a few days early. Packed very well. After the bike was put in the box they blew liquid foam that hardened around the bike so it was well protected. It was easy to assemble. Actually, all I had to do was put the handlebar stem in the frame & tighten. I checked the wheel nuts for tightness and they were very tight from the factory. The fenders and the wheels and the brakes were all in alignment so I did not have to make any adjustments. I checked the tires and they were already filled to specs, so did not have to mess with that. I upgraded the seat, but the one that came with it was perfectly fine. The. LED display is easy to read and easy to use. Just press the mode button and the display goes thru all the features of the bike. Odometer, trip odometer, time used, etc. I was worried I would not like the pedal assist modes but I was blown away at how they work. Really neat. You have the option of pedal assist 1 which takes the bike to 8mph.. Push the up button to got to pedal assist 2 which stays at a constant 12mph. PA 3 takes me 19mph. You can set the pedal assist to start as soon as you start to pedal. I went with another option which means I have to pedal 3 complete revolutions to begin the pedal assist. I'm an old fart, 86, so it is a little safer for me to get on the bike and start pedaling myself before pedal assist kicks in. Once you stop pedaling, the pedal assist shuts down. Great safety feature. However, there is a throttle you twist for variable speeds, so you can go any speed you want. The throttle overrides the pedal assist. Also, you can go into settings and change the factory setting speed of 19mph to run the max which I think is 29mph. But at my age, I left it where it is. I only have 25 miles on the bike so far but I am very happy with it so far. Also has a neat headlight and taillight which gets brighter when you apply the brakes. There is really nothing not to like about this bike. I feel safe and steady when I ride it. I added a rear carrier to keep my phone, owners manual and tools, plus a Gatorade and a bottle of water. At 25 miles so far, the battery is still more than 50% (about 70% power left probably) as you can see in the photo. I have been using PA 2 at 12mph and helping with the pedaling. Probably 50% pedal assist and 50% full electric power. I am glad I made this purchase. Reasonable price as well. I read all the positive review before I made the purchase and that is the main reason I bought this one.

I had compared several e-bikes for months until I decided that this would be the best make and model to fit my needs and omg am I happy that I did! I had a smaller commuter bike for 2 years and was ready for a much need upgrade to something bigger, faster, and more durable. I ride a total of 25 - 30 miles a day commuting to and from work 5 days a week and this bike holds up for the ride and city streets. The tires are very durable and have survived through rocks, dirt, pot holes, sand, and small broken glass. The brakes do have a squeaking horn like sound sound to them when you brake completely but using WD40 helps cut down on how loud it can be. I love that the bike comes with its own break light and headlight mounted to the bike. It took me 2 hours to put the whole bike together but thats because I had to look up a video on how to properly adjust the H and L system near the bake tire of the bike but other than that it was fairly easy for one person to do. Make sure you read through the instructions so you can fully understand the bike and all of the modifications you can make to it. This bike does go up to 29 miles per hours BUT you have to make sure you change the settings on the bike so you can set the speed limitations. Charging the battery takes up to 5 - 6 hours which doesn't bother me since I charge the battery overnight but I know people like things to charge as fast as humanly possible. The bike is about 50 - 55 pounds WITHOUT the battery. The battery adds about 10 - 12 pounds on to the full weight of the bike. I've had my bike for a little over a month and I couldn't be happier with it and can't wait for summer to arrive so I can really enjoy my commute to work and ride to the beach on my off days.

OMG, this thing is a blast and I can't wait to get it to the beach. It was delivered a week early so I took my time assembling it, double-checking instructions as I went. Pretty easy actually, but the pictures in the instructions could be lighter (hard to make out). I already had a cellphone holder, large bike lock, and saddle bag to add, making this day trip ready. This bike comes with nice fenders, a headlight, a taillight, digital instrument gauge, horn, kickstand, rearview mirror, and back rack to hang my saddle bag on. It seems lighter than it says yet built very sturdy. It folds up small enough to easily fit in the back of my small SUV. I tested the electric motor on a level street and hit 27 mph. I might have gotten more speed, but I came to a corner. That's fast enough on a bike though! ONE WARNING: When I first tested it, it was set on "kick to start". That means when you just start to pedal, the electric motor will kick in automatically. This seemed okay until I was making a U-turn and it kicked in. Even the slow setting will take off pretty quick. So I reset my bike to "direct start" (code 0000), so the motor only works with the hand throttle. I got the 500-watt motor and it seems plenty powerful unless you are planning a lot of steep grades or carrying a lot of weight (I weigh 220). I highly recommend this bike. Last photo is it folded in the back of my Kia Sportage (without putting the seats down).
