I've had other memory foam mattresses and remember the old mattresses and box springs from my youth. When first unrolled, I felt the bounciness of the springs too much. But later it is perfect for me. I have severe back problems and a torn rotator cuff (usually no sleeping on that side) and this is about as good as I expect it to get. I am sleeping better. As soon as I got the wrap off of it, it began to expand. I did wait 72 hours before sleeping on it just to give it time to reach full expansion. It is a thick and comfortable mattress! Since the day we opened it this bed has been a nightmare. It would be more work to return it than it worth. My son is only 11y old and skinny. It's been 5 months and it still looks like the day it came out of the box. It never fluffed up still has areas around it that stayed down never came up. So very unhappy! Never again.
