Enjoy the fun and flavor of wood smoke while using your gas grill. The Napoleon Stainless Steel Smoker Box is built specifically for use in Napoleon Prestige PRO™, Prestige® Series, and Rogue® Series gas barbecue grills. Made from durable stainless steel, this Smoker Box replaces a barbecue's sear plates directly above a lit burner. To use, remove the barbecue's cooking grids and a sear plate directly above a burner. Place the smoker box on the sear plate supports. Fill the high-capacity box with your favorite flavor of wood chips or chunks and put the lid on. Replace the cooking grids and light the burner below the smoker box to low. The chips or chunks will begin to smolder and produce smoke. This is ideal when adding that delicious smoky flavor to your favorite meals. To achieve the best results, the food needs to be on the barbecue for at least 20 minutes. This is ideal for roasts, reverse searing meats, and rotisserie-cooked meals. To remove the stainless steel smoker box from the barbecue when you are done cooking, wait until the barbecue is fully cooled before removing the cooking grids and smoker box.

Although this is a nice little attachment for my Napoleon grill, it leaves a little too be desired. I could not prevent it from catching on fire and therefore went through my wood pieces fast, with very little smoke infusion. I will keep fooling around with it too see what the magic trick might be, but as of now I would not recommend. Fits nice though. Looks nice. Just leaves a little to be desired. ... show more

Absolutely a great buy! This smoker box works perfect on the Flavorizers on a Weber Genesis. Put it directly on the burner under the grill itself, this thing smokes food better on a gas grill than my smoker from Weber did and it’s easy to use and less that $20. Don’t waste your money on a pellet smoker if you already own a grill. Gets smoking within a minute of firing up the burner with dry chips on high and then dial it back to your cooking temp once smoking. You can add smoke to your quick grilled food like burgers or slow smoke some fish, tri tip, or pork. If you use this one correctly on the burner shield like it’s meant, it works great. ... show more
