This is a great product. My dog had a lump removed on the inside of her thigh, and we were concerned about her messing with it, so I got this, and it’s working perfectly. I will say that the fit, is a little odd, you can even see from this photo that it doesn’t fit her like it fit the dog in the photo up by the shoulders. I got a 3X per the size chart, she’s 90 pounds. Overall though it fits pretty well and it’s a pretty innovative product so that we don’t have to do a cone. There are some snap adjustments On the front that can be adjusted to lengthen it, so we are going to play with it some more. In any case it’s doing the job as intended.

Disappointed. This was recommended by my vet but did not work at all. Does not fit well. One size is too tight/exposes the suture when my dog sits. Next size is way too big and leaves room for him to get to the suture. Material is cheap and doesn’t stretch. Also, the zipper! It doesn’t even stay! Easily comes unzipped and then the whole suit comes off. Don’t waste your time on this

We used this for my GSP after she cut herself, and it worked great to keep her from licking the area. It was much more comfortable than using a cone, and she was able to move around normally without any issues. The material felt soft but secure, and it stayed in place well. Definitely a helpful option for wound recovery.

The media could not be loaded. This little outfit is perfect for his TPLO recovery. Pros: the material is breathable and stretchy enough to allow for body movement The suggested cut out is large enough and perfectly placed to allow him to potty without creating a mess. Con: as stated in another review, the zipper will get loose which will enable them to escape. Correction for this is a safety pin thru the zipper and material to keep it in place. Con: this is a natural issue that isn’t necessarily a design issue. Because the material stretchy, as your dog moves around, stretches, lays down, it will slip back allowing material to get into place to be soiled if you don’t correct it. Correction: make sure you check it and tug it into position before you let them out to potty.

I like the quality and I think this is a really good shirt. I had two dogs who were spayed and I went the shirt route. I have a couple complaints now that I've actually used them for two days.... 1. The sizing is not accurate. I went with the weight range my dogs fall in. Both are over 50 lbs. I got two of the same size (wish I went one size different) and while one fits fairly decently, the other one is so loose i have to safety pin the hind area where the flaps snap around the legs. 2. The neck area doesnt sit right on either of my dogs and I felt i had to keep tugging it to somewhat stay. 3. The zipper placement honestly kinda sucks. And it's a pain to try and hold both sides together while getting the zipper to attach. Other than that, the shirt is comfortable and both dogs seem to be fine in it once I get it pinned properly. I dont suggest buying based on their weight, though.

The media could not be loaded. I’m really disappointed. This sounded like a great product, but it just doesn’t fit my dog right. I used the size chart and matched my dog’s chest measurement with the suggested weight to choose the size. It fits tight on the chest, though the zipper won’t stay up, but it is too long through the back and loose in the waist. He’s walking all over the legs and peeing on the belly.

Had to find a recovery suit that covered my dogs legs as he was licking at a raw spot on the top of his back thigh. This covered the area, where many options for rear legs did not. The material is like a heavy duty tshirt, feels like it will be durable, while also having stretch for comfort. The bottom is stitched for a cutout for male dogs, this worked perfectly, even though it fits kind of loose on his belly. The zipper is SO much better than velcro - much easier to put on, and more likely to hold up. (The velcro on the suit I used after his surgery when a puppy didn't last more than a week.) I anticipated fit to be an issue, as his neck and chest measurements were smaller than the size that seemed to match best. (For reference, I have a 35lb. labradoodle, 20 in. back, 25in. chest, 14in. neck). I chose the XL primarily for length. While it is loose in the torso, it is long enough, and the snaps around the neck/shoulder area allow further adjustment. Overall, a much better alternative than the cone.
