I purchased the set of 3 for my kitchen island, and they truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we installed them, they instantly elevated the space. The upholstery has a soft, premium feel, and so far it’s holding up very well with regular use. Assembly was straightforward and didn’t take long; the instructions were clear and easy to follow. A couple of small notes: Since they’re upholstered, you’ll want to be mindful of spills. They have a solid weight to them, which adds stability but makes them slightly less easy to move around frequently. Overall, excellent value for the price.     • LOVE the chairs but WEIGHT RATING inaccurate. People Over 200lbs, these will NOT last.

The video with the woman explaining all the positive points, it covers everything I love about these chairs. ALL of what she said is true and I agree with the comfort, style and versatility of these chairs. What I challenge and disagree with is the WEIGHT RATING. But I and my spouse each weigh around 200lbs, so we thought these, being weight rated for 300lbs, SHOULD have been sufficient. If you, like us, are an overweight person, I would avoid these. The seats are perfectly fine, but the stand/base is made of inadequate metal. The first things to go were the foot rests. 200lbs and up will, with repeated use of getting in and out of the chair, weaken, bend and break them. also, the base can apparently bend at the bottom. Where the swivel shaft connects to the cymbal-shaped base, it's not well reinforced. Perhaps they could have used a stronger grade of metal? I bought a set of 4 almost two years ago. Currently, I have ONE fully functional unbroken chair, two that are usable but the foot rests are broken, and one that--nearly a year ago-- I had to get rid of because it was bent, leaning and unsteady at the base (which is NOT fixable by laymen like myself).
