What is the difference between 100 grit and 180 grit? 100 grit (coarse): Best for removing acrylics, gel polish, dip powder, and shaping thick nails. 180 grit (medium): Ideal for refining edges and smoothing natural nails. Lets you shape, remove, and smooth with just one file. Is this nail file suitable for natural nails or only for acrylics? It works for both. The 100 grit side is designed for acrylics & thick nails, while the 180 grit side is suitable for natural nails when used gently.
