    • This washboard is sturdy enough to clean my Braava mop wet pads!

This plastic washboard is a good size for small items. It fits well in the bathroom wash basin. The ridges are a good size and distance apart. The back is reinforced well, to prevent breakage. I used it today to scrub a Robot re-usable wet-mop pad, which is quite textured and stiff for mopping. There are no marks or scratches left on the washboard. I prefer not to wash the mop reusable pads in the same machine I wash my clothes in, and opted to hand wash one each day after mopping, and then air dry. I found that they are not too difficult to clean, but require a bit of scrubbing, which was making my fingers ache. After lots of searching for a solution to scrub the wet-mop pads without damaging the loops, I bought this small plastic scrub board that is advertised for small items, and hand-washed one today. It got the pad clean in a fourth of the time, with no impact on my hands or the washboard. I am very pleased with this washboard, it’s performing very well. ... show more

I haven’t even used this washboard yet but did want to note that it appears that there is some leftover plastic on the front of the board, maybe where the boards are connected in production, that could make for a rough surface for delicate garments. There are two very small raised plastic bumps at the top and bottom of the front of the board that I’m afraid will catch on certain fabric. The thing is also tiny, only big enough to use in a bathroom sink (not even kitchen sink, in my opinion). You get what you pay for is what I’m saying. ... show more

I purchased this specifically for travel and the size and weight are perfect. When my husband and I travel overseas, we don’t always know if we’ll have the convenience of a washing machine or a laundry service. So, to cut down on the amount of luggage, I’ll bring laundry soap and we’ll wash socks, underwear (gasp!), tank tops, t-shirts, etc. in the sink or tub. But, to have a little washboard like this makes me feel like we’re doing a better job of getting these items clean. While this is much too small and flimsy to be of any use for adult clothing, it does work great for baby and toddler clothes. I've had great success getting stains out of my children's clothes even after the washing machine didn't get them out.

It's so small literally can't even hold it down to scrub anything. It was waste of time and money. Doesn't even reach one side of my standard sink. Pic for reference.

For hand washing anything small, this is a tremendous help! Small enough to fit in probably any sink (we use it in the bathroom), it's super handy and works great. The old-timers knew what they were doing when they developed the original wood versions decades ago. Very useful.
