100 watt Mylivell heater not raising temp above 72. i have checked with thermometer comparing against other tanks so the thermometer is good. I have changed electrical receptors. I'll have to put old 50 watt heater back in. On Dec. 16th they said they would send a replacement. As of Jan 9th I have not seen a replacement or heard from them again. I think this heater is a neat one considering the temperature control handle spins on the top. Looks sturdy and professional - just like the pictures. Works right away, no problems/issues/complaints. Comes with two so you can either save one as back up or give/sell to a friend!

Little to complain about with the product. Ive had it in my 20 gallon for about 2 days now and the heater is getting more and more precise, temperature wise, as the days go on. Right now I have it at 82 but the water is 79 so not bad, could be something on my part but overall. Does its purpose pretty well REVISION ON FEBRUARY 3rd 2020 The temperature gauge is still very iffy and I have little confidence it will ever be truly accurate. I can have it at 82 and the water will be 78. Or 86 and the water will be 81. Just aggravating now having a constant heat for my tank ... show more

I received my heater on the 20th and it was in good condition and worked great. It kept the water temperature at a set 78degrees....BUT TODAY....only 6 days later, when I was doing my 50% water change, I came to find out that the glass had popped! Fortunately non of the glass had broken off while inside of the tank. Only once I removed it, did it finally fall apart. I a very disappointed that this happened and my husband and I do not understand why it happened. It was placed by the filter so that a constant flow of water would move pass it as recommended. So what would cause it to pop. In my opinion, it is really unsafe for aquariums. ****UPDATE**** Two days after posting my review I was contacted by the Mylivell seller though email to rectify the problem. I am highly satisfied with their costumer service and professionalism. They were very sincere and prompt in their replies. As of right now, I have the new heater in our 36gal. It has been six days since the setup of our new tank and the heater appears to be doing fine. Just as the previous heater did, this one is also keeping the water at the set temperature. My husband and I genuinely hope that the popping of the glass tube on the previous heater was just an isolated event and will not happen again. But If another issue should occur I will be sure to post an update.1/17/20 ... show more
