I purchased two of these in black because I have a small living room and wanted a side table that was functional and provided extra seating. These stools are amazing...I can use it as a foot stool, for extra seating, as a side table, and for storage. The storage is bigger than expected and that's a good thing... based on previous reviews I was expecting the storage space to be very tiny but there's enough room in there for putting whatever you want (as long as it fits). I have no idea what I'm going to put in there...my kids will probably end up using it for their items since it'll be in the living room. My 8 year old daughter was able to put the legs together.... it was super simple. The stool appears to be very sturdy....I just received it and we tested it out. The material seems to be good quality too. I will highly recommend this and I plan to get another one in the future.

I didn't put a pic because it's unnecessary honestly. What you see is what you get with this product. I got the black one. It's made well, easy to put together. Ships fast. It seems short online but it's actually a comfortable height for sitting/ putting shoes on. I weigh 175lbs and it holds up perfectly to me standing and sitting on it. The table side of the lid is made well and super convenient as a portable little table. Crazy but 10/10 I'd buy another one. Oh and cushion is great as long as you aren't sitting on it for 3 hours at a time lol.

UPDATE TO REVIEW (20-Dec-2023): Instead of just returning the broken stool to Amazon, I reached out to the seller. They were very responsive and were aware of similar issues on some older models of the stool. They have updated versions coming into stock already with stronger metal bases attached to the legs and much bigger screws. They offered to send me a replacement with the reinforcements. I received it a few days ago, and they seem MUCH sturdier. So far so good. Updating review from 1-star to 5-stars for good customer service and a nice product (n the end). If you receive one with the tiny screws and weak metal plates, contact the seller for a replacement. They said that this should not be an issue moving forward as all the new stools are reinforced. I ended up with the Matcha Green model and I like the color and the stronger base. If quality issues arise again, I'll update. First 3 pics are of the first poorly made stool I received with tiny screws that couldn't hold any weight and last 2 pics are the NEW stool with much better supports. OLD REVIEW (08-Dec-2023): We liked this stool for the first few weeks for the aesthetics, but tonight my 6 year old leaned against it lightly and the screws came out of one of the legs and they both fell over. Investigating further, the screws are so tiny that they used and they can barely grip anything. It’s just a matter of time before the other legs break off even if I put it back together. What a POS. Going to return it.

Great little foot stool! Storage area is large, I flip the lid upside down and use the harder side to rest my feet on so as not to indent the topside. The lid is also fabulous to use as a small lap desk when removed. I was able to stain the legs to match the rest of my furniture. Love love love this little foot stool!!
