Look. I’ve been a carpenter for 45 years. The screws that were sent are too short., and have a small diameter shank. We are fastening 1” trex exterior decking. Camo fasteners are similar in size and style , but camo/trex screws are probably 3/8” of an inch longer than the screws that came with the muzata product. Also , I need to buy Phillips screw driver with a small diameter shank as the spacing on the muzata clips will not afford you to drive the tiny screw in without damaging the face of the trex decking. I would surmise that in a few seasons the screws will loosen up from the joists. What I’m going to do is buy new screws similar to the trex screws. To all the deck builders and homeowners this is a real pain as many already know, the fastening, and framing system for trex is probably 40 percent longer than a standard wood deck. Muzata gave me a good price, but out of pocket I will have to buy different screws. Not a happy camper. Now, I received the Muzata product via Amazon shipping. My question to Muzata is :”Are you going to reimburse the $60.00 I spent for longer screws, due to the fact that the screws muzata sent are inferior? ... show more
