This is nice. REALLY nice. I have tried 3. This is by far the best. I have a gym. I needed something for work that I could use with dumbells and I finally landed on the pivot bar. It fits ANY dumbells or kettlebells. It has a nice weight to it. Its EASY and fast to set up and it pivots as you move the bar so you absolutely NEVER have to worry about the weights falling off. Others screw on which can be time consuming and many dont fit the handles of the dumbells you own properly-or at all. This does. It does it quickly, securely, and with ease. Surprisingly effective at keeping Bowflex dumbells in place. Actually adds a bit to workout bc you really have to keep it stable to avoid weights swing back and forth which forces good form.

Love it!! I have adjustables that can be clunky and smack into my thighs for certain exercises, like sumo deadlifts, or hurt my hipbones like hip thrusts. Using a bar would add too much instability and took up too much space. But this length is PERFECT and the weights stay in no matter what I’m doing. Wish I bought it years ago!

I'm impressed with how sturdy this item is. Its easy to use by placing your dumbbells on the end. It does take time getting used to the movement of the dumbbells and the worry that they'll fall. So far I've used up to 25lbs on each end and its been sturdy. It provides versatile workout options from squats to rows and functionally works better than expected.

I’m not gonna lie, I was a little skeptical of this bar when I first saw it. Safety-wise I couldn’t see how this was actually going to work as designed without the dumbbells rolling out of the hooks. But now that I have it, my mind is completely changed. The hooks roll exactly as designed when loaded with whatever weight you put on. The bar itself has a good weight to itself. The description says 16.5 pounds and, without actually weighing it, I’d say that’s about right (it even felt a little heavier to me). So you don’t need to go super heavy with your dumbbells as you need to factor in the bar. I will never have the ability to test it to the max weight rating of 200 pounds, but it honestly wouldn’t surprise me if it actually could handle it. It’s well built, extremely solid. That was one of the first things I noticed when I took it out of the box. We all know how hit or miss products manufactured in China can be, but I have no concerns with the build of this one. I don’t see it falling apart or failing during use. I also want to comment on how well-packaged it arrived. Mine got lost in transit for a few days, so it likely sat (or even got a little manhandled) in the extra days it took for the tracking to re-find it and finally get it to my house. Well I can say that, even if it were manhandled, kicked, tossed, dropped, etc., there was a high likelihood that the bar would’ve come through unscathed. It comes preassembled and packed in solid foam, then into an outer cardboard box. And then the solid steel construction just adds to its durability, both for shipping and, more importantly, for use. I would highly recommend this bar to anyone with dumbbells in their home gym. It allows you to have a barbell without the hassle of weight plates. It may seem a bit pricey at $90, but anyone who owns fitness equipment can tell you that it isn’t unreasonable by any means. And the convenience factor kind of pays for itself. My only negative to this product is that you have to be careful when loading the dumbbells. As you can see by my pics, I had the bar on the edge of my bench. If you load one dumbbell at a time, make sure you are holding down the other side so it doesn’t flip over, possibly endangering your toes. Otherwise, solid 5 star piece of equipment.

I was skeptical of this being safe, but intrigued at the same time so I ordered it. First off I really like the color and the knurl which is passive as to be expected with this type of bar. I have tested it for two days and am impressed with its overall build quality and innovative design. I was surprised to see no branding (name or logo) anywhere on this bar. I tried this with neoprene dumbbells and it worked just fine holding a pair of 10 lb ones. I learned the 2 lb ones are too short to fit this, but the 5 lb ones do also fit. I then took it from the house to the shed gym where the real weights are and it has no problem with hexbells either. I did not try it with loadable dumbbell handles but expect they will fit since they are even longer. I tested this doing bent over rows, squats, bicep curls, cleans, overhead presses, reverse curls and good mornings and had no issues with any of them. I forgot to try deadlifts but I expect it would be fine doing them too based on watching the movement of the weight holders as I did each lift. I purposely avoided bench press since this bar is not long enough to be rackable. The weight holders always adjust accordingly to keep the weight balanced on each side. My original fear was that it would spin too quickly and jettison the weights since there is nothing to cover over the top of the weights but that never even came close to happening. I recommend this bar for anyone who either has limited space to workout, likes to try new things, doesn't own weight plates but does have hexbells or has weight plates but not enough room for a traditional barbell. The bar itself weighs 16 lbs and you can just tell is well made the moment you pick it up. Other competing bars that hold hexbells clamp them in using plastic whereas this is uses deep all steel slots to hold the weight in place while rotating to keep them balanced. Plastic will break, but steel is much stronger and will last making this much better than the competition. Also because the weight holders swing the stress is taken off your wrists much like a traditional barbell but the competition does not swing to reduce this stress. It would be nice if they eventually were to offer color options and a center knurl but even the way this bar is with its compact design and very reasonable price make this an unbeatable deal.
