I picked up this 2 pack of Loctite Tite Foam Big Gaps, and it worked pretty much like it said. The poly foam stuff blows up nice and fills in the big cracks and spaces around pipes, windows, and even in the framing. After it dries, it feels really hard and solid, makes a good seal, and keeps air out. Using it was pretty easy – the nozzle gives decent control and the foam grows enough that you don't gotta spray too much. Clean up was ok, but you def need gloves or it sticks on your hands badly. When it's dry you can cut it or even paint it if you want, which helps it look better. Only thing, it grows ALOT, more than I thot, so don't fill it all the way up or it overflows. All in all, it's good foam at a fair price. The 2 pack is handy if u got bigger jobs or just wanna keep an extra can. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone doing fixes around the house. Bought these to fill up holes where animals had dug under my porch. This foam filled it well and the nozzles all worked on my cans. The animals dug around the foam so I need to buy more now.

    • Great expansion and seal, but can be messy
Pros: Excellent Expansion: True to its name, it fills "Big Gaps" incredibly well. It expanded more than I expected, which made sealing large exterior voids very easy. Dense Structure: Once cured, the foam is very firm and provides a solid barrier against drafts and pests. Durable: It holds up well to temperature changes and doesn't seem to shrink or crack after the initial cure. Cons: One-Time Use: Like most spray foams, the straw and valve tend to clog if you don't use the entire can in one go. It’s hard to save for later. Manageability: It expands quite rapidly, so it’s easy to over-apply if you aren't careful. It can get messy quickly if you don't have a cloth and some acetone nearby. Overall: I’m giving this 4 stars because it does exactly what it's supposed to do for large gaps. Just be sure to prep your area and wear gloves, as it’s a bit tricky to control the flow once it starts! ... show more

Cling Wrap, AND Gorilla tape WORK! When you don't want anything to stick when shaping. I used the gorilla tape to contour the shape of the hull where a fish finder would normally go; too much wear & tear was being created on the edges from rocks & sand.
