For the first 2 or 3 days, these strings really stretch. You may be retuning a lot. After that, they are very stable and hold tune well. If you play with a pick, these strings are fairly bright. If you strum with a thumb or fingers, they are a little dull, but passable. I didn’t save much money buying these strings on Amazon. Ernie Ball Earthwoods are about the same price. They are ok for the price but do have a copper color and when I played them they sounded a little flat. Not as bright as other phosphor bronze I have used.
