Got this for a family member who is a teacher to use when getting silly complaints. The fact that you get a tiny violin for sob stories and a wah-wah trombone is great. The sound was pretty good for both considering they are just little toys. Both came with batteries and worked.

I work in a pediatrics office and these two little jewels are HILLARIOUS!!! I clipped the trombone to my name badge and the little back piece fell off that holds the batteries and... Womp Womp Womp.. I can't find it :( So now Im buying another one! LOL! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My kids both have a love of memes, music, and (thanks to yours truly) dad jokes, so when I found out these tiny toy instruments existed, I knew I'd have to get a set... I just didn't expect to be using them myself more than they do - including at parties, and even work to equal amounts of laughs and groans! They come packed together in a small box, and with batteries pre-installed. After pulling out a couple tabs, they're ready to go, and are surprisingly loud for a pair of piezo speakers! Those planning to use at something like a funeral may wish to cover the speaker grills with a piece of tap, or at least a temporary hand, but I was glad to have the extra volume that belies the small size. They're attached to keychains, but are large enough to be a pain to pocket, especially at the same time; I've kept them in another pocket by themselves without issue though. The violin does the sad thing, perfect to respond to the odd sob story, and was originally what caught my eye... The trombone however has proven by far my favorite - though it looks more like a French horn or twisted trumpet than actual trombone. I've used it everywhere, and had an entire factory in confused laughter after putting it up to the intercom which blared the prerecorded womps (allegedly). The only thing to keep in mind with these is that they play continuously while holding the bottom, so will loop endlessly until you let go... And they can go off while in your pocket as well - leading to more hilarious situations like when a bunch of bottles fell out of a cabinet in front of me (with my wife watching), and the sad trom one played as soon as I crouched to clean up the mess (which immediately had more than just the bottles rolling on the floor)!

My brother has been doing the "smallest violin" bit my entire life. I ordered this as a gag to give him a taste of his own medicine and it was a huge hit! Both the violin and the trombone are smaller and the perfect size to use as a keychain - they even provide a hoop to have it on a keychain. They are not super loud, but loud enough for the average person to hear. The violin does a sad little tune and the trombone does a bit of a "womp womp" sound - something you might hear to reply to something unfortunate happening, like dropping something. Both of these little toys are hilarious! They come with batteries included and give a nice laugh when needed.

Fun little stocking stuffer. The musical people in the room were very quick to point out the reasons why they weren't really the correct names for the instruments. I still loved them and thought they were fun!

Every year, I like to find that one special unique and hilarious gift (big or small) and give it to a deserving family member. As small as these keychains are, it was definitely the best and most talked about gift during our entire holiday break. SO FUNNY!

Each keychain makes noise - the trombone goes "wah, wah, waaaah". It's so cute. Just a quick push of a button. The world's smallest violin and tiny trombone were definitely a big hit with my son. He plays trombone in the school band. He can't wait to show it off when he goes back to school after winter break. Batteries are already installed. They will be easy to change out with a small screwdriver. This is a gift that is ready to go straight out of the package.
