    • Streamlining Studio Sales!
Stepping up the game in my home studio business was a bit daunting at first, but I quickly found it doesn’t have to be about wrestling with complex gadgets or getting tangled in a web of wires. This MUNBYN Thermal Printer offers a breath of fresh air with its straightforward setup and use. Whether you’re a tech newbie or just appreciate simplicity, this printer’s got you covered. It connects right out of the box with most setups, and since it works well with popular systems like Square, you’re looking at minimal headaches when it comes to compatibility. Just a heads up, though—it doesn’t play nice with Wix and Clover POS, so keep that in mind. Space is always at a premium, especially in a home studio. This printer understands that, offering a wall-mount option to keep your workspace neat and professional. Plus, its oil-proof cover means your printer stays clean, no matter what your studio throws at it. Changing paper is a breeze, too, which is one less thing to slow you down during a busy day. Lastly, diving into the MUNBYN ecosystem feels reassuring, knowing you’re backed by a brand that stands firmly behind their product. With a wide customer base and a reputation for reliability, it offers an additional layer of peace of mind. In essence, the MUNBYN Wi-Fi Thermal Receipt Printer isn’t just another piece of tech for your business. It’s a smart, straightforward upgrade that respects your time, space, and the need for simplicity. This printer keeps my main focus; it's all about adding professionalism without the complexity. Highly recommend! ... show more

    • Good quality, fast, many connection options
This is nice receipt printer. The quality looks good, it’s fast and it has a lot of connection options. I tested it over USB, which is the quickest to set up, but it also offers connectivity over wired and wireless (Wi-Fi) networks. For my testing, I used Windows. The printer requires installing external software, and the software package, which is downloaded from a cloud storage service (over secure https), isn’t signed. Nevertheless, it looks like the software uses the Microsoft Universal Printer Driver architecture, so the vendor-supplied code is only used for things like displaying a user interface to configure the printer. For that reason, it’s probably reasonably safe to use, especially on a POS system, which should be isolated from secure systems anyway. For network configuration, the required information can be obtained by printing the printer configuration information, using the MUNBYN software. The output quality is good, with solid blacks and clear text on the included roll of thermal receipt paper. The speed is good too, and the receipts are automatically cut, except for a small area in the centre that holds them together until pulled apart. All in all, I can recommend this receipt printer. I considered taking off a star because of the unsigned software, but the hardware is good enough that I decided against it. ... show more

    • Great Printer with 1 Exception!
This is a great receipt printer to use in so many situations! Our purpose for this was to use an outdoor POS station. The setup and connection to our system were as expected when trying to make any system work with each other. The print quality was great and fast. My issue was with trying to have a paper to use in this printer before it arrived. In the product description is states multiple times the width that can be used, but never mentions anything about the diameter. The images all show this tiny roll, and I was worried that this wouldn't take any of the thicker rolls of paper. I wasn't happy about having to wait for this printer to arrive before I could order a case of paper to use in it. 🐻 *Statement/Disclaimer: This review is part of Amazon's Vine Program which provides products at a reduced cost in exchange for sincere/frank reviews. • tight form factor, quick printing
MUNBYN Wi-Fi Thermal Receipt Printer 80mm POS Printer with USB/LAN/Serial Ports, Oil and Splash Resistant Cover Sound Alert Wall Mount, Works with Square Windows Mac Chromebook Linux Cash Drawer I had no trouble whatever getting this MYNVYN printer up and running. Yes, loading the thermal paper was hard, but that's my clumsiness and is normal for such things. WiFi worked well against several applications I tested. I was able to print quickly in test and the "receipts" emerged with nice, clear, sharp, images. Paper width is the standard 1 and 1/8 inch, so no worries there. As a printer I imagine, but did not test, that it can print anything within the width of the roll and long length (say a shipping label). The form factor is tight, compact, and a pleasure, and how nice it is in a small sales business and my own consulting business to actually pump a small receipt for the consumer paying on the spot, and email the larger variants for those who want those. All in all an excellent buy at the price point on offer. I remember paying $190 or so, but I see a coupon on offer today which makes life even better. Enjoy! • Attractive, compact printer with multiple connectivity options
This is a great little receipt printer with all the features I look for, including a receipt cutter, and a really flexible set of connectivity options (Wi-Fi, LAN, serial or USB - pretty much everything except Bluetooth). It's ideal if you use Square's POS system, because it has built in support, but can also be used directly as a printer if needed. Munbyn is one of the more reliable names in POS and shipping tech - I've tried a number of their products and have always had good luck. The support for this printer goes above and beyond my expectations: the manual is 86 pages long and covers in detail all the setup steps, even for Ubuntu and MacOS, and they publicize a Whatsapp number if you need personalized assistance by chat. It's nice to have comprehensive driver support. There also appears to be ESC/POS support for compatibility with legacy serial receipt printer control systems, although I haven't tested that. I'd buy this again for sure - it's worth a few extra dollars over a no-name printer, and the design with the textured front and blue guard on top adds a bit of flair to your checkout experience. ... show more

    • Great Thermal Receipt Printer
I recently tried out the MUNBYN Wi-Fi Thermal Receipt Printer 80mm POS Printer, and here's what I found: Setting up this printer was a breeze—it was easy to get up and running in no time. Loading paper was a simple task, which I appreciate for its convenience. In terms of compatibility, it worked seamlessly with Square and GoDaddy, the two POS systems I use. The connectivity options, including USB, LAN, and Serial ports, worked well and provided flexibility in setup. As a fan of thermal printers, I particularly love the fact that there's no need to change out ink cartridges. It's a small business owner's dream come true! Overall, the MUNBYN Wi-Fi Thermal Receipt Printer gets a thumbs up from me for its ease of use, compatibility, and reliability—a winning choice for any small business. ... show more
