First off my name is Mark Tierney. My wife and I share this account, but this is my review of the Mummy Anubis Tattoo Machine. This machine is absolutely amazing. The adjustable stroke length is honestly the best part. You can jump from lining, shading and color packing on the spot. The battery lasted way longer than advertised, which I tattooed for about 6-7 hours and I still had about half the battery life. There’s also a display that clocks your time using the machine which is a pretty cool feature as well. The Mummy Anubis is literally my favorite machine I’ve ever used, from the second I turned it on I felt like I had used it a thousand times and there was learning curve to adjust to. The media could not be loaded. This machine is so nice! I've used quite a few machines over my years of tattooing, and this just might be my new favorite pen style machine! It runs so quiet and smooth... In my video I start the machine at 4.2mm stroke and 7 volts (typical liner variation use) and you can hear the jump start feature, then it levels and is practically silent. I'm very happy with this machine and can't wait to produce some solid artwork with another great machine. ... show more

This is by far the best mummy machine yet. With option to go from 2.2 - 4.2 you can do every style perfectly ! GREAT battery life ! Low vibration fits smooth in the hand ! I’ll deff be buying a few more of these ! And highly recommend everyone to get one asap!

I love this tattoo machine! Adjusting the stroke is very easy just make sure it’s off before you adjust it! The 4.2 is perfect for lining and the lower strokes are awesome for light shading

    • Don’t waist your money!!! Total trash!!

This machine is pure garbage. And I gave it two shots!! I brought the first one and about two and a half weeks later the top of the battery pops off in the middle of a tattoo!! And the buttons when in as I was trying to shut it off!! Wtf!! I’m thinking ok faulty product let me get a new one as an exchange because I was in my 30 day return period so hey! Let’s give it another chance. The second machine comes in. I did two fairly small tattoos and it dies. Flat out dies. None of the batteries would get it started again. Wtaf is going on?! So I contact the manufacturer. Which by the way is on accessible through Facebook messenger, and they don’t respond to any of my messages for over a month!!! 🤬 This company sucks!! Do not buy anything from them!! ... show more

I have another mummy machine, so this isn't a shot at mummy. With that being said, I'm very disappointed with this machine. Right out of the box, I turn it on and it sounds so smooth. It seems built well out of the box....until I put a cartridge in. I put a cartridge in to see how it runs and make sure the adjustable stroke is accurate (it is) but right away it was completely unusable. Why? It runs so damn chattery and rough. My needle was bouncing everywhere and it sounds like someone shaking a bag of marbles. It is the complete opposite of smooth, and you could hear it chatter from across the shop. I decided to do some practice tattoos with it, and was able to adjust the needle depth to a sweet spot to where it wasn't so chattery. But that doesn't make it good. It was a compromise. The machine is COMPLETELY UNUSABLE at certain needle depths, especially at a higher stroke. I have to say, I give it a 2 star because when I could get it to run smoothly, which was annoying that I had to do, it ran beautifully and I loved the back weight and how it felt in my hand. I may have a faulty machine, so take this with a grain of salt, but it definitely has less kick than othe Mummy models. It seems to have some give to it. Very unhappy, and will be returning my product, hopefully for a new one. I will update this review if needed. ... show more

The first time I use this pin, it worked great! But it doesn’t work well with the bishop cartridges for some reason. Whenever I use a bishop cartridge, the needle is bouncy??? not sure how to describe it, but it doesn’t hit hard. Other than that I love this pen and have used it on multiple tattoos now. I really wanted to give it a five stars for its price and adjustability. if it wasn’t for the couple of times, the needles didn’t run correctly, it would’ve been five stars…… Hope this helps someone I might have with a mast fold three if I knew this was going to happen…. ... show more
