  • WORTH THE INVESTMENT
Model: B1103
I was impressed with the quality and the sound was amazing. I donated the instrument to a local youth that could not afford an instrument. Waiting on his progress. Definitely worth the investment.

  • Slightly falling apart
Model: B1103
When i first received the banjo the screws holding the drum in place had already fallen off the guitar. Screwing them back in worked for a time but the screws have shredded through there original holes and no longer hold together. Overall sound seems to be pretty decent for learning and maybe even for some recording genres if your not looking for fancy. The only issue i have is with the banjo falling apart before i even opened the box. ... show more

  • Decent
Banjo is decent for beginners. Pros-plays pretty well and has a decent sound. Good not great Cons-fret wire needed to be filed down to avoid sharp edges while playing. Rim and resonator are not only synthetic, but look just like plastic. It seems to be a fairly dense resin that will hold up decently well, but it looks rather silly Case is virtually worthless and the strap is very ugly. Overall a good purchase for the low cost. Fret wire was REALLY rough and would have rendered it almost unplayable without the filing work I did otherwise, it was worth the $170 price point ... show more

  • Cracked neck
Model: B1103
It’s a cheap banjo so I wasn’t expecting much, but the neck had a crack running down the side. It doesn’t seem to be affecting how it plays but it’s disappointing nonetheless

  • Missing parts
The banjo was missing the bridge that holds the strings apart and up off the banjo, my son is not able to play it. It was his big gift for Christmas this year. very disappointed about this.
