The subwoofer enclosure can handle up to 1000-watts RMS and is designed to deliver all the bass you could ever need. Everything you need for a great bass system is in this package except wire! The TNP212DV utilizes the TNE212DV vented dual 12" enclosure, which combines great subwoofer design with perfect vented enclosure design to outperform everything in its class. Each 12" subwoofer can handle 500-watts RMS power, 1000-watts RMS for the entire enclosure. The subwoofers are wired internally at 2Ω matching it perfectly to the included TNA500D amplifier. The enclosure itself is made using extra-strength 5/8" MDF (medium density fiberboard), which is the preferred material for subwoofer enclosures, ensuring the enclosure can contain the massive low frequency sound waves generated by the subwoofers without problem. The enclosure is wrapped in black aircraft grade carpet. The classic black goes well with any interior and is resilient to tearing and wear. The embroidered Terminator logo adds a custom look. For over 40 years MTX Audio has been making car audio electronics designed to deliver more than expected and that is exactly what this package delivers. the TNE212DV is the perfect solution for enthusiasts on a budget.

  • Great Dual 12" + 500W Amp Speaker Combo
Style: Dual 12" Vented Subwoofer Enclosure + Am... Pattern: Subwoofer
This hits hard and was easy to install using a line output converter. Sits in my trunk and goes through the rear seats just fine. I plugged the port to get a much cleaner sounding bass. With the port open it can get a little muddy sounding at higher volumes. Biggest con during install was that the grub screws in the Amplifier that hold the positive/negative and remote with are designed in a way that shears your wire clean off when you torque them down. Biggest issue with the remote wire as its small. I cut it off over and over till I crimped a small piece of metal on the end of it then torqued it down. The included screws to mount the amp strip out way to easy, Used proper wood screws I have laying around. Is there better out there? YES Is this a great deal for just over $300 for the amp and subs? Absolutely I would call this a low to mid-range sub setup, but plenty for what I needed, I'm not a kid anymore so I don't need a $2k setup lol. ... show more

  • The price was right
Style: Dual 12" Vented Subwoofer Enclosure + Am... Pattern: Subwoofer
I installed this combo in my 2013 Equinox and am very satisfied with the performance. I should have gone with a sealed box for my open cabin vehicle. But this is only a temporary and will be going with a better set up for the next purchase. What can I say, the price was right for the product. Oh yeah, my local dealer has this same exact set up for 400 bucks... ... show more

They have great sound the only thing I do not like is there is no base control knob,if you buy a after market one it will not fit.the amp is a pin to plug configuration.

  • Bass knob
Style: Dual 12" Vented Subwoofer Enclosure + Am... Pattern: Subwoofer
Everything looks great and works great just one problemo the remote gain knob for turning the bass up or down is not working properly the red light comes on but no adjustment. No big deal I have always set my amps and let em ride but I haven't contacted anyone heck send me a t and some stickers and I'm good. Great bass for sure ... show more

  • Get the vented ones
Style: Dual 12" Vented Subwoofer Enclosure + Am... Pattern: Subwoofer
First time installing subs and it couldn’t have gone better , i paid the extra money and how the vented subs and it was worth every dollar . I have friends with the non vented and they don’t even land in the same category as these , surprisingly they even came with a quality bass knob aswell . The amp is more then enough power for these and at 50% bass I have more then enough power to break my back window . And wake up the neighbors lol . Pair this setup with a quality wiring kit (thickest gauge you can get ) I found my kit including a capacitor , fuse , positive and negative wires and everything else I could possibly need for around 50$ . Don’t be a dummy spend your money . ... show more

  • Can't turn it up to the max.

  • Outstanding combo that just works.
Style: Dual 12" Vented Subwoofer Enclosure + Am... Pattern: Subwoofer
I wanted a little bump so I picked this combo up. You can go wrong at these prices. This was literally plug and play, 20 minutes to install and now my neighbors hate me! My only minor complaint is the knob on the remote gain control. Its tiny and needs to be larger to more easily manipulate.

  • Sold as "Used - Very Good" buuuuut...
Style: Dual 12" Vented Subwoofer Enclosure + Am... Pattern: Subwoofer
The seal on the front panel of the sub box is compromised. Everything came looking immaculate with 0 signs of damage or wear but when hitting low frequency notes (this is without bumping up the gain) there is a gnarly rattle coming from the front of the box. On closer inspection, while the exterior fabric shows no indication of damage, the front panel is clearly loose and smacking against the box on those low notes. I am using ratchet straps at the moment to alleviate the problem, which has helped but not completely eliminated the rattle. For being sold in "very good" condition, I am not satisfied. Update: After 4 days the amp has blown. I have never even pushed the subs anywhere near their max potential, considering the blown box they came in. I'll be sending this whole package back for a refund. ... show more
